Can anyone suggest me some auto repair shops around Beaumont where I can get my brake pads and rotors replaced? What is a good price (not get ripped off)? How was your experience doing the same?

I saw a couple of guys wearing green safety vests walking around my neighborhood on the west side of Beaumont. They were inspecting the power poles and using a measuring wheel as they walked while taking notes on a clip board. I asked them what they were doing and they told me they are surveying for ATT fiber optic cable installation.
Anyone know more about this? The only thing I could fine on the ATT website was a 3 year old story where they claimed they were expanding in TX and Beaumont was on their list. If it took 3 years just to start a survey, I'm not holding my breath on the fiber getting installed any time soon, if ever.

Made him yesterday around 12:00 when clocked into work.The first (and only until literally closing at 9) customer i had at work yesterday destroyed him.

He doesnt have a nose because i went back inside to find something to make it with, and take care of customers that just pulled up after taking the photo...and came back to him headless, shoe prints in his face :( (didnt take a pic unfortunately)

I’m moving to Beaumont soon and I’m almost halfway thru my pregnancy so I’m looking to get set up with an OB there. I have type one diabetes so I’m high risk but very well controlled. I had a C-section in 2023 but my current OB and MFM have told me it’s up to me if I want to repeat a csection or not so I’m kind of undecided on that currently. Any advice/ recommendations?

Hello everyone, I am currently considering moving to Beaumont to attend Lamar University as an international graduate student in Engineering. I have done a bit of research on the city, and I am a bit concerned about the safety since I have never been to Beaumont. I have lived in San Antonio for 5 years, though.

• I am a bit of a tighter budget, so getting a 10k financial aid from the university is really a big factor why I considered Lamar, and the affordability of the City.
• I’ll be moving with my family of four (spouse and two kids), so safety and a family-friendly environment are especially important.
• I’d like to live in a safe neighborhood, even if it means spending a little more on housing.
• I’m also looking for advice on how accessible and safe the campus really is and what the general student life at Lamar is like.

For anyone who have lived in Beaumont or attended Lamar, do you think it's worth it here or would it be better to consider other universities without financial aid but with potentially safer environment.
Sorry if this is long or if I offended anyone by saying Beaumont is unsafe, it is just what I read online.

We have called multiple doctors in Beaumont and none of them can do tubal ligation for some reason. Called multiple places in Houston and no one answers. Found one in Lafayette LA but that’s pretty far. Any help would be appreciated.
