What's more Australian than sitting down after a long day of hard yakka with a nice cold beer? Nothing, that's what.

There's a handful of craft beer advent-type packages available this year and I'm interested in hearing about people's opinions on the overall quality and value of these. Not so much a review of each and every beer but what they think of the package overall.
Is it just me or have I been not paying attention at how many smaller brewers are now only doing 16 can cartons???
The two local dans have no stock… it was listed as clearance I think, which means it’s likely done…
Any recommendations for an alternative??
Would like 375ml tinnies…
So sick of these smaller cans that don’t fit my yeti cooler…
Hi All,
My partner likes Carlton Draught and is living here in Canada with me now.
She don't like any Canadian or craft beers here, only Stella is a moderate beer she can drink that is a staple.
Do you have any recommendations?
I know everyone has their opinions on beer, but I've tried a bunch and she isn't receptive to anything else I find... And you simply cannot get it or import it here.
Thanks for any input!
Wife gave the go ahead to buy them before checking her calendar and figuring out she couldn't go. Happy to knock a few bucks off them and sell them for an even ($300). Edit: I'm a doofus. double-checked the price, and they were $145, not $155. I'll make it $280.
Capital brewing has put out some bangas but they have been seasonal. Is there a great all year round tropical sour beer?
Premise: I frequent places in the inner suburbs or CBD and I'm a very boring man into (I)PAs.
I'm aware of what's going on with the craft brewing industry at the moment, but it seems to me that also places that used to have interesting beers have gone downhill with their quality: nothing new, nothing interesting, big groups and same old beers on tap. Only saving grace are the breweries themselves, but not many around anymore.
I was talking to a friend and he agreed. Are we just turning into grumpy old men (a real possibility) or are we onto something?
My family does secret Santa each year and this year I got my Aunts partner who is an absolute piece of shit.
Context so you can get the idea:
He’s an abusive alcoholic that’s caused a giant rift between my Aunt and his daughters and even kicked my Aunt out of her rental property bedroom because he needed he’s sleeping space.
Now I don’t want to spend $2 on the prick but I’ve been convinced to “just get him beer” to keep the peace.
I’m trying to find something disgusting and low rated but having no luck
Cheers in advance for your help
Population booming and the area is gentrifying quickly. I think it's about time someone built a brewery in Sunbury. A lot of tradies in Sunbury and surrounding areas, I think it's much needed for the town. If only I had the capital to start one, it would be a wise investment.
This beer used to be pretty widely available before the COOF. Does anyone have any insight into why it has not come back into stock in Australia for (from what I can see) almost 5 years?
It used to be my Xmas beer.
I do miss it.
Any insights would be most appreciated.
So my dad's on a mission to track down a nostalgic beer from his UK days! 🍻🇬🇧 Hoping to find it locally and avoid those crazy shipping fees! Edit: beer in question is holsten pils 🤞🏻 #CheersToMemories #BeerQuest
I never knew how many standard drinks were in various beers I was drinking on tap so I created a little app for my own use but thought others may enjoy it.
Is there a difference and if so what??
I’m chasing some recommendations for a stout I could gift my husband for our first wedding anniversary.
He loves stouts and dark beers. I’m completely naive when it comes to this topic! I know he enjoys imperial stouts and chocolate stouts?
I was wanting to get something special that he wouldn’t usually buy himself. Something up to $100.
Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated, thank you!
With everything getting more and more expensive I've been on the hunt for good value craft beer, specifically IPAs.
I stumbled across Sydney Brewery East Coast IPA. 4 for $18 or 24 for $78 with an ABV of 7.0%. Is it the best beer I've had? No, but man it packs a punch.
So, fellow beer lovers, what other bargains are there currently on the market?
Any recommendations?
I don't like buying imported anything, but I want that full on Barbarian style wheat beer (that Australians generally hate).
I've heard that there's a pub crawl based upon the Sydney edition of Monopoly bit can't seem to find details of it anywhere. Has anyone done this, and if so can you share the route? Thanks
Hi beer guys, so I’ve had arcade made - by brew dogs, and it was just one of the greatest beers I’ve ever had. Can anyone recommend me a similar beer as currently it unavailable. Thanks in advance
Sorry to ask but I have been researching it for the past 10 minutes and can't find an answer. I am trying to cut down on liquid calories and I enjoy the taste of VB so I am going with that. The caloric content doesn't matter too much but I would like to know out of curiosity.
Also any suggestions for Lower Calorie beers in the future? I have tried Better Beer and enjoyed it. What are some others?
What is an equivalent beer ?
Edit: Anywhere in Brisbane
Gday fellas I’ve always wanted to get into crafting my own beer and since life’s been a bit rough lately I thought I could do with a decent hobby. Problem is there’s about a billion different guides/opinions online about the best way to go about it and am really unsure of how/where to start. Any resources or sites for complete beginners? Nsw if that makes any difference.
