This might be an AB sub but we all have non-AB products that we want to talk/rant/rave/whatever about.

Hi everyone! I have a question about Korean skincare products—specifically about ingredients. I’m planning to buy a product with Centella Asiatica, but Houttuynia cordata (Heartleaf) seems similar. Both seem to provide hydration, soothing, and anti-inflammatory effects, but which one would you say is better?
I’m looking for a serum, and I have oily skin that tends to lack moisture. Could you recommend a product that provides hydration without making my skin too greasy?

Hi y’all!
So, recently, I have developed milia under my eyes and around my nose alongside whiteheads spread out across my entire face. I have cut back my skincare routine to only La Roche Posay’s Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, Purito’s Oat-In Calming Gel Cream, and True to Skin’s Sunfriends Soothing Sunscreen Gel. I bought Medik8’s Press and Glow Toner for gentle exfoliation as I have highly sensitive, acne-prone skin, in general and after repairing my damaged skin barrier earlier this year. I still suffer from dehydrated skin, but not as bad too. I’m wondering, to avoid over exfoliation and damaging my skin barrier again, how many times a week should I use this toner to clear up congestion? I’ve heard anywhere between two to three times a week and twice a day everyday. Also, if y’all have any other recommendations of products that you think would help, I am opening to hearing them!

Hi. I have oily and acne prone skin, and I'm now suffering from hormonal acne. So, I bought this niancinamide dark spot serum from An*a for the first time. Although it's red, transparent, has a watery consistency, fragrance-free, I'm not sure if it's authentic or not. The box says the expiration date is in 2027, but the actual bottle says 2026. I'm also confused if it's supposed to have tiny bubbles that don't disappear at all. Can you please help me out? Thanks in advance.

I got the fillimilli hydro sponges a while back (the pack of 4) and I wanted to ask how to use them, do you wet them like a beauty blender or use them dry?
Welcome to our Routine Journal! These are held quarterly as a way to share, track and reflect on your routine through time.
Here you can not only share the products you are using, but, if you want to, also share why you are using them and reflect on the goals you want to reach with your routine.
If you participated in one of the previous threads, please add a link to your comment in that thread in your post! (8/31/20 Note: We will create a megathread for all routine journals in the future so they're easier to locate)
While you can just fill out the usual template as you see fit, I ask you to do it a bit differently this time. Highlight the changes in your routine. Compare what you have now to what it was 3 months ago.
As you can see, this is a lot about reflection and not a simple list of products (but feel free to just plop down a list! It’s either way a great way to track your routine and reflect a bit!).
If possible, share your products and thoughts in order of usage, or indicate in your list at which place you would use them, as not everybody uses every product as intended.
Please follow the below template, but feel free to adjust it to your needs. You can mention your whole routine, including non-AB products.
Post general comments or questions about this in reply to the stickied comment. As always you can find the template for easier copy-pasting as replies to that one too. Any other top comment that does not contain a routine will be deleted.

I am a 24F Asian-American that has thick, long, coarse straight hair. I also have the following details:
I have to wash my hair every day or else my scalp gets itchy and greasy within the next day (sometimes a bit of dandruff).
This means that my roots are mainly oily, but my ends tend to be dry.
Porosity wise, I did the water test and it floated meaning I’m low porosity (even though I was tested high before).
After playing with a bit of hair personality quizzes, one of the most common advices from my results was to have a leave in conditioner. I usually currently just wash my hair every day with shampoo (either Pantene or Head and Shoulders based on what I have at my house) and just air/towel dry. Hairstylists have usually said that my hair is pretty healthy, but I really desire my hair to feel less like straw or hay and feel more silky. What leave in conditioner will best achieve that moisture. Should I even get a leave in conditioner or is there a different type of product out there as best for me?

I have pretty bad closed comedones and was wondering what products would be best for that, if anyone knows?
