Hey fellow late nighters. I want to create a community of people who want to listen/watch an episodes of C2C with Art, obviously, and get to chat while listening. I am kind of a YouTube idiot, but I have created me channel, have the archive. I just can't figure out hot to play an mp3 live, with live chat. Can someone DM me or tell me the easiest way to do this. Would love for this to happen 1-3 nights a week. Best of of course.

Does anyone remember a guest on C2C, in either 98 or 99, that mentioned the fragility of the New Orleans levees? The guest mentioned that the government knew the NOLA levees could not hold up to a cat five hurricane if it hit the city. I was shocked to hear this and forgot about it until Katrina.
I’m curious to know if anyone remembers this episode. Even better if you have a link to it!

So I was listening to the 4-2-1996 episode of C2C (Euthanasia & Immigration) when I heard Art's stance on doctor assisted suicide. He effictively said that he was pro-physician assisted suicide. Ramona was the one who believed that people should die a painful death for karmatic reasons, but Art felt that a lethal amount of painkillers, or an accidental overdose if you will, was acceptible for people to not have to endure the final agonizing throws of death.

It's an interesting subject to think about... Was Art's death truly accidental? Or was Art tired of enduring a life of COPD and chronic pain and just wanted an end to everything? Thoughts?

Looking for an episode where the interviewee talks about a forest hike with his dog. They come across a black diamond thing floating in the air. The dog is killed. There are alien bodies. I think this one is pretty famous and the interviewee had his own website at the time with photos.

Another episode I’m looking for is where the interviewee or caller talks about cutting off part of an alien with a katana and sending the flesh to a scientist for testing.

Any ideas?

I heard this was true, that Art "ran his own board". In the radio biz that means he didn't have a producer that did all the fading up and down of commercials and show elements.

Heard that Ramona later helped him with this. I'd love to have seen video of him running the board. All those old web videos of him did anyone see him doing that stuff?

Thanks, in the business when a show host did that it was a sign that they REALLY loved and were into radio and were GOOD at their job.

We know Art was all those. Just been listening to a lot of his show lately I'm going through a rough time right now in my life and reminds me of better times...

I'm listening to an episode from July 4th 1995 (talking about the Oklahoma city bombing + open lines) where Art was musing out loud how cool it would be to do a Coast to Coast episode where he "took calls" from his Ham radio setup, broadcasted those conversations on his Coast to Coast radio channel. He said the only reason he wouldn't just do it immediately is because he didn't know if it was legal, which makes sense. Does anyone know if this ever happened?

Hey there AB fans. As a fellow born in the 80s I’m absolutely loving the nostalgic feel I get when listening to Art’s shows. And of course the subject matter is just thrilling a lot of the time to say the least.

I started with all the open lines on aliens and entity’s and then found some other classics that I loved, Mel’s hole and a few others, but none (so far) that quite had an impact on me like the Jim Sparks episodes. Something about that story and the way it was told just really transported my imagination and beliefs to a new level and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Are there any episodes that anyone else can recommend that live in the realm of the Jim Sparks story ? I’m sifting through and listening to new ones daily but I’d love some feedback on your favourite episode and anything similar to the greats I mentioned.

So I discovered on Youtube the channel The Why Files ( with his mascot Hecklefish lol) I noticed today in the back ground two pictures of Art Bell on his pin board back drop! He was paying tribute to Art in his own way. SO cool how Art inspired the next generation of interesting , unusual and paranormal topic exploration. By the way I had NEVER hear of the Chronovisor before until last month on one of Arts old shows. Interesting topic. Some of what I heard in Art's show was mentioned but this show dug a little deeper to the now on it. Great detail that one of the things he was willing to compromise to pursue his radio passion was "generic cigarettes."

I posted awhile back about how maybe he wasn’t completely full of shit then I relistened to his arguing with Paul Dore and after looking into it somewhat it seems that maybe Dore was drug into something by a douche bag.

I know some say fake, some say real. I choose to stay completely entertained by the show even after Art's passing because for whatever reason...well...you know how you get in a state of nervousness or anxiety? Even as crazy as Art's show was I always get that feeling of comfort in my chest. Anyway, not the point. Does anyone know what happened to that pilot? I've never heard but I did hear Art say on air that he presumed dead.

I started listening to old Coast to Coast episodes just a couple of days ago while at work and I absolutely love it!

There definitely are a bunch of crazy stories out there but what I really love about Art is that I get the feeling that even though his skepticism would peek out the blankets every now and then, he would always say something to the effect of: "[I'm not sure I'm convinced] but I just don't know folks, I really don't know."

It has become such a good lesson for me that you can invite people to talk and encourage them, regardless if you are skeptical or not, as long as you say the truth: "I don't actually know if you saw a ghost or not. It might not sound like your story is true to me, but I really don't know. I just don't know."

And when you use that line: "I really don't know", you allow the person you are talking to to express themselves more freely and you might end up getting a cool story and learn more about them!

What do you think of Ed Dames in the United States? He has just arrived on a French TV set to elucidate French affairs. he says he is going to find a teenage girl who has been missing for several months and he says he had located the body of another missing child and claims to know how he died. If he wasn't a former CIA agent no one would take him seriously, but for the French the CIA is really serious so... I hope he doesn't give false hope to poor parents . This guy perplexes me.

Hey all: Can anyone point me to the original show where (I believe) Art reads a fax regarding Mandela dying in prison and discusses the phenomenon? I'm looking for the original mention of this phenomenon, probably from the 90's? I've already got ears on the 2001-12-05 show where a lady calls in and talks about Robert Duvall (and she alludes to earlier shows where Mandela is covered). And I've also listened to the 2009-11-20 show where Starfire Tor hits this topic and Art refers back to earlier shows where it was covered.

Was listening to Art tonight and he stole my heart again.Heard him speaking about his drone and what amazed him of what drones can do and what they will evolve to do. I am a drone fan myself and fly serious ones. I'll be , everytime I think I love him I love him even more.
