I’d love to see The Strokes cover A View From The Afternoon or Dancefloor, if only to return the favour.
Tranquillity Base was considered to be released as a solo album, given the concept-ness of it. Alternetively, what are the chances of any of the members starting another project, the way Thom Yorke/Jonny Greenwood did with The Smile
I'll build my collection slowly because am cd's and vinyls are expensive and difficult to find here in Brazil. Got this one in a sale for a nice price
Okay, so here’s the general rules I’m working with:
1.) no more than 30 songs
2.) HAS to have a song from every main AM album
3.) b-sides are encouraged, but not required
I can link the playlist so far
The reason is I heard my dad playing it and I asked him what song is that so I listened to it and I loved it
T
… i mean, what a set…absolute feels all way through and probs the best performance of dance floor …pure class

What song(s) do you think is the best performed in terms of delivery, technique and all that stuff?
What song(s) is sang in the best tone (has the most beautiful voice sound)?
Obviously I knew of Arctic Monkeys but hadn't listened to anything except "Do I wanna know" but recently I started listening to more of their songs and they're great. Any song recs if I like "Why'd you always call me when you're high" and "Mardy Bum"?
Idk what it is but this part in "Mardy Bum" is soo good.. "Yeah I'm sorry I was late Well I missed the train And then the traffic was a state And I can't be arsed to carry on in this debate That reoccurs ,oh when you say I don't care Well of course I do, yeah I clearly do!"
Hii, I hope you enjoy this cover I made If you wanna follow: @riccardo_biondi_ on IG
personally i think late this year or mid 2026
For me:
AM
TBHC
SIAS
FWN
WPSIATWIN
Humbug
The Car (when it was released)
(The takeaway here is that I must be biased to albums with an acronym)
Hello, I have a gig soon with the band and we want to include an AM song in the repertoire, the problem is that we are only 3 members. I was wondering if there is any song that can be played with a single guitar or if you think that some could be adapted to be just one guitar, thanks!
I’m a big podcast fella was looking for recommendations from fellow Arctic Monkeys fans. It could be a pod specifically about the band or it could just be general music discussion. Thanks!
It doesn’t sound like Jamie or Alex so I was just wondering who was singing that part it sounds awesome!!!
I think it insists upon itself
!i made this as a joke btw!<
🤔
What’s everyone’s favourite line from ‘Snap out of it’. Mine is: “Or the fat lady fancies having a sing”.
I mean, in only 20 years they went from being the fastest hard garage rock band to making the most dark songs I ever heard, then the most engaging pop rock, in 2018 creating a lounge music album that changed their sound completely to end making an album that included an orchestra. That’s insane
