I remember reading some Archie as a kid and I miss that cozy safety blanket feel again.
But it's so overwhelming!
Where do I start? I'm not from the US so imported HCs/Trades are my only option.
Hi! So my mom has Archie comics collection like for example she has comics about Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica, Laugh, and Pals and Gals. There are some digests and there are some double digests. Also, there are some jumbo comics. They are not complete and I'm pretty sure they are bought randomly so I don't think all of them will have continuation. Maybe some of them are connected or has continuation but not all. My question is can I read them the way I wanted to? Like based on what I think are connected to each other? Or do I really need to read the other previous issues that I dont have? So I can understand the story because just like what I have said earlier, the comics are randomly bought. Thanks!
I had an Archie Christmas comic collection, but it was given away without permission, so now I'm trying to replace it. I remember the stories included one character talking about designer presents, and another with a character trying to do as much as possible during the holiday season, and one story where 3 characters end up playing santa at the same time. Does anyone remember which collection it was?
I was recently thinking of something from years ago; an Archie comic where Reggie says "my day's not complete without you" to Veronica, but turns out to have a list of "girls to hit on". Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
I was reading a comic on the comicxology app a while ago And I had found a story called "Love In" where the only detail I can remember is Reggie bouncing a rock off some walls trying to hit Archie or something to ruin his date and and he says to himself "You can't say ol reg doesn't know the angles".
I can't for the life of me find the comic it was in a d was wondering if anyone knows.
Hi all! Fell out of touch with Archie comics, but looking to get back into them and there are three that I'm looking for that I can't seem to find what their names/issues they are.
Happy to provide more clarification if that's needed! I feel like I can remember most details, but can't seem to find them online.
I also recall in the mid 2010s (maybe like a year or two before Riverdale started), there was an Archie Comics app. I had like 400 different stories there, but the app seems to be gone? Does anyone know what's going on and if I can still access those comics LOL.
I was wondering as I've been collecting on a lot of Digests recently and noticed B&V Friends ended and then there's the Jumbo Comics of B&V, then there's The World of B&V and I'm soo confused trying to get them in Numerical Order on my shelves, thanks I'll also post my collection so far thou I don't collect the Riverdale ones and the ones that focus on the Modern Comic's run.
Yeah I just popped them up on eBay - I assume that this reddit doesn’t appreciate links there, but it isn’t hard to find …
I haven't seen it in years, but I remember reading it in a Digest:
Basically, Archie is gliding down a hill on a skateboard, and Jughead remarks that Archie has owned it for about a year now. Archie tells him it's been exactly a year, because he found the warranty slip saying it expired that same day. The wheels immediately pop off of Archie's skateboard.
trying to find a reprint where the Archies, Josie and the Pussycats, Sabrina and Bingo is in this long storyline where someone keep on stealing their music equipments. I think this is the only story where theyre all in the same storyline and would like to read it again since its been ages since I last read it
Im trying to find a story where the gang (current) run into their 1940s counterparts and another story where I think they all switched personalities but I might be wrong about this one but I do remember the first one
I used to read Archie comics on my parents' IPad when I was younger (10-11 years ago). I remember one distinct comic that left an imprint on my memory but I can't seem to find it no matter how hard I look. As a last resort, I'm turning to reddit.
The details I vaguely remember is that Jughead finds a new diner at the top of a hill, he doesn't have money and/or the diner doesn't 'accept the money. Instead, Jughead eats a bunch of food but pays for it with his soul. He then goes to his friends who go to the diner to get his soul back but end up giving up certain aspects of themselves as well. It turns out the woman running the diner is a devil / demon of some sorts and has control over people.
For additional context, it is not Jughead's Diner. I thought it was it, but as I read through it I realized it wasn't at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve had a subscription for 5 months, so for me that is 20 issues total. 40% of them have been Christmas issues. I get that the December and January batch are going to be Christmas themed but when it’s March and you’re still getting them, it’s enough already. Not to mention the stupid Christmas in July nonsense they send throughout the year! I like a good Christmas story but come on Archie Comics, give me a break from it. I didn’t know almost half my delivered content was gonna be about Christmas jeez over a five month period. At least they sent one Jughead issue this time.
