i've tried joining the official forum but in order to do so there's a verification question you need to know the answer to and these are just incredibly difficult. it seems to keep changing. the most recent one i've seen is "Which artist drew the short-lived Hot Dog series in the 90s?" How am I supposed to know the answers to such questions! Google and ChatGPT have been unhelpful.
edit - I've tried answering the verification question multiple times (it often changes). I know I've gotten it right at least twice and yet I keep being told I'm wrong. what gives?
I've always liked Archie since I was a kid, but I was only able to get the digest magazines with random comics.
Have they ever released definitive collections of Archie, Betty and Veronica, etc?
Hi. I want to ask if Veronice has her own series early on? I know that Betty has her own series Betty and Me starting from 1965 and both Betty and Veronice co-star in Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica since 1950 but I can't find Veronice's own series early on like Betty. Also, I am not really knowledgable about Archie world, but based on what I read so far, I have a feeling that Veronice has always been favored over Betty by not only Archie but also the artists who make Archie stories, right?
As title, I want to get to know more of Bob Montana's works for Archie. Is there a book that has a collection of Bob Montana's prominent stories and strips?
There's this issue where Archie and the gang are either vacationing in Egypt, Cairo, or Morocco, the scene I remember the most is Betty is taken aside by these two men and a cobra has been sent after Veronica to assassinate her, right as it's about to bite her one of the men puts a silencer on his gun and shoots its head off.
Solved! I found it, it's from Archie Giant Sized Magazine #541, the story is called The Red Dragon.
There is the one issue I've been looking for, for almost 20 years, it's about Archie and Veronica taking their dads on a horseback riding trip through the mountains with a guide, a venomous snake, either a rattle snake or viper lunges out at them and spooks the horses, causing Veronica and the guide to fall, the snake comes towards Veronica and her father whacks it with a stick, then it comes back and Archie's grabs the guides gun and shoots it which blows it in half, he credits his marksmanship to serving in the army which then shows them his medals.
(Solved) it's from Archie at Riverdale High #93.
I am a Gen Z and I have seen some posts asking about if people were obsessed with these comics as a kid. Considering Archie has been around for like decades, its kind of strange how I didn't know about them when I was like 6 or 7, though I probably would have liked them as a kid....
Hi. I am a huge Archie comics fan who dont live in the US. I guess Archie comics is pretty popular there because it is one of the few American comics I can buy in my country which is half the world away from the US. But when I ask my American friends about it, some know and some dont know Archie comics. So my question is how popular Archie comics is in the US in the past and now?
Hi,
I have tried to look online to see if there is a reading guide for Archie but I haven’t been successful.
I would love to read the Archie comics but, don’t know where to start I keep reading something about riverdale and what not.
I am not too sure what it means but if someone can help me in understanding where to begin so I can buy some and start reading I would love to. ☺️
This is my first post here as I made reddit to ask this. But I need to know.
I'm trying to find a specific archie comic from anywhere before 2006.
One of the only things I remember in it is it definitely had veronica get stranded on an island, and some strange guy who was obviously stuck there much longer saves her, then Veronica's cruise comes back or something. The second thing is that it may have also had a Sonic comic inside it.
It would be really nice for someone to identify it, I don't remember what the cover looked like but I know it was given to me before 2006.
(Edit: it was found! Veronica #24 Where the buoys are. – Tysm.)
