3 days since beginning, waiting for my girlfriend's betta fish. What do you think? 😁
So something about my scape just doesn’t sit right with me it’s just not scratching my brain in the right way. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I try and close the gap in the middle? Is there too much of a variation in the plants I’ve chosen? Should I extend the grass inside the little cave I’ve made with the rocks??
If you could make anything for your tank’s hardscaping, what would you create?
Hi all! I’ve been swimming around this sub for awhile and learning so much from everyone! Thank you for all the wisdom.
I’m building a 21 gallon, low tech tank, (tons of plants) and am looking for a good filter. One I could always use on a bigger tank if I upgrade/easy to clean/good flow, etc. I’d like soft water movement rather than something super powerful. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!
I’d like to upgrade the lighting on this 1.51m (~5ft) tank. What do you recommend on this size tank?
Can't even see the back half of the tank but I love the moss too much.
I've never grown it before and its multiplied but many leaves are yellow and even getting holes. At first I thought the new leaves were yellow but the holes are making me think it's a symptom too
Hey guys. I’m relatively new to the hobby and I must say I’m enjoying the hell out of it. However, there are their downsides, of course. My stepmom asked me to work on her tank as my tank is actually doing quite well and I’m landing into some interesting issues that I would like help solving. Im getting lots of dark green algae that has a very pungent smell. And the plants don’t seem to be growing well. Again, there is this dark green algae on the surface of many items stored in the tank. What should I do?
I had plants with algae I don’t know what to do. My fish tank is 18 liters with a hygger lamp of 14 wats.
What should I do?
I've had my tank for about a months now. 20 gallon. No co2.
I put a layer of substrate down and topped with sand I planted some Java ferns and some other plants but it seems like they just died lol I know I have to remove my golden ribbon plants because I didn't realize they were bamboo but honestly seems like they are the only plants that haven't died yet lol
I use flourish as instructed but just seems like nothing is working.
This is my first planted tank.
NOT LITTLE, 8.5gs, n sorry 2 am saturday…
