In the fate series, how is it possible for a servant be able to manifest as different classes(not at the same time)

For example Gilgamesh is the archer class in fate/stay however in fate/Grand Order he is of the caster class...

is it just because Gilgamesh is the resident bad boy in the series lol.

can any servant switch classes in the spirit realm or wherever before being summoned?

Or do they choose as they are summoned?

Just curious and I can't find much on my own and thought maybe someone read/heard something somewhere or something.

Where did 4kids came up with the idea of adding a pop soundtrack in the dubs of the first two movies of Pokemon in the first place?

When the first two movies of Pokemon were dubbed, 4kids had many pop artists that were in the vocal soundtracks in which had nothing to do with the plot of the movies. I want to find out where did 4kids get the idea of adding pop songs in the soundtrack of the dubs of the first two movies of Pokemon in the first place.

What are some roles that you didn't realize had the same voice actor?

I was rather surprised when I first found out Tomoe from Tsukimichi was Monica Rial, but I understand now that I've seen some of her other roles with that voice.

The other role that really gets me is Madeline Morris as Nagisa in Girlfriend, Girlfriend. I didn't recognize her at all.

What anime has dubbed songs?

Just went to see "Colors Within" and I really loved that they dubbed all the songs and they actually had somewhat similar lyrics to the original japanese... that got me thinking, what other anime has dubbed music? I know "Sing a Bit of Harmony" also had that (which made it sound very much like a Disney movie lol).

When I was a kid, they used to have english versions of the theme songs, for example Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Digimon etc etc... but it seems they mostly stopped doing that? I wonder why that is? Those songs were pretty bad in comparison to the original (but if you had no context for that, you were just like "huh that a catchy little tune" lol), but the way dubs have greatly improved the last 13 years, I think its time to bring back the dubbed theme songs imo

Your Week in Anime Dubs: What dubbed anime have you been watching, and what do you think of it?

Please tell us a little bit about what dubbed shows you've been watching for the past couple of weeks, or currently watching right now. Old or new, as long as it's dubbed we'd like to hear about it.

Anything good we should look out for? Anything bad we should try to avoid? Tell us a little bit of what you think. It's nice if you elaborate a bit on what it is you like or don't like about a show. That way your comment is useful to people who are looking for new anime to watch. :)

Writing the names of the anime in bold is nice, to make it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names.

Since this is also for people who are looking for new shows to watch, please use the spoilertag if you reveal any mayor plot points of the anime you are discussing (see spoilertag section in the sidebar for info on how).

To prevent low effort comments to steal the spotlight from people who put in a little bit more effort top level comments in this thread must be at least 150 characters long (roughly 3 sentences long).

You can find a list of the previous "Your week in anime dubs" posts here.

I was re-watching the Noblesse dub and…

If you forgot about Noblesse, it’s a Webtoon anime on Crunchyroll. And the dub is made by Studiopolis, right? The dub got Ray Chase, Sean Chiplock, etc.

I‘m pretty sure I heard Erika Harlacher as Erga Kenesis Di Raskreia and Steve Staley as Regis K. Landegre. They were uncredited for some reason, but I‘m confident it’s them.

I don’t know who voices the other characters, though. Let me know if you know who voices them.

Erika Harlacher as Erga Kenesis Di Raskreia (it sounded like her)

Steve Staley as Regis K. Landegre (sounded like Toshiro for some reason)

Anime that you felt came way before their time

Title says it all folks what anime do you think of when you think of titles that came way to soon? My personal pick would be Deadman wonderland I would have loved another season for that one! I personally feel like if it came out in 2025 the story would have been a huge hit it's just a shame that it's become one of those forgotten titles from the old funimation days and rarely gets talked abt.

MyAnimeList MAL Sucks! Worst website to use for Anime.

I've seen plenty of anime with a 10/10 score that was just terrible. I've seen anime of low bad scores. And I enjoyed them better than some higher scored Animes. Visa versa. This website I know it's purpose is to tell people what anime they should and should not want. It's honestly just sickening when somebody can't make up their own mind and opinions and I have to say well this website said this so I'm going to stick to that. And then they miss out on something that could be there next favorite Anime. And it's all thanks to websites like MyAnimeList MAL. I've had some friends show me some animes that have gotten very low and bad scores. And I've enjoyed the anime more than I thought I would. It just depends on the person and their preference on what anime they'd like and dislike. You don't need a website like MAL to tell you what you can and cannot watch. Just watch whatever you want to. And be it from there.

I appreciate what they're trying to do by getting people into Anime, but to be honest with you this is not how you do it.

Here are some of my reasons why I MyAnimeList MAL Sucks!

Toxic Community on MAL's forums and user reviews can be overly harsh, elitist, and filled with unnecessary gatekeeping. Biased Ratings on Popular shows often get inflated scores, while less mainstream or experimental anime may be unfairly downvoted. Poor Review System on Many reviews are low-effort, overly negative, or written by people who haven't finished the series. Slow Updates & Bugs on The website can be slow to update, and users have complained about occasional glitches and downtimes.

It uses an overreliance on Numbers. Some people judge Anime purely by MAL scores rather than forming their own opinions. MAL is has bad Recommendation System. The site's recommendations are often generic and don’t always match individual tastes. MAL has a cluttered UI. While functional, the website's interface feels outdated and lacks modern design improvements. Certain anime get artificially boosted due to industry influence rather than genuine user scores.

Honestly you should just watch whatever anime you want to watch. Read whatever manga you want to read, and play whatever video game you want to play. You don't need a website like this to tell you what's up. That's just my little two cents on the matter. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And hearing me out. I appreciate it.
