4 Remember the day thine favourite weekly anime releases a new episode and keep it sacred
5 Thou shall not interrupt thy neighbor's transformation sequence
6 Thou must give thine long and convoluted backstory before every major fight
7 Thou shall save thine ultimate weapon or power until the last moment
8 Thou shall always make a badass entrance
9 Thou shall listen to thy enemy's monologuing in its entirety
10 Thou shall always wear a long cloak outside when it is windy
It feels like pretentious gratuitous Japanese. I especially don't like it when people say "I'm not a weeaboo, I'm an otaku" meanwhile they're using a Japanese word when an English term like "anime fan" would suffice. You know, what a weeb does. In fact, I don't even call myself an otaku, but a weeaboo. I'd rather acknowledge weebiness than succumb to it.
Since /r/MetaAnime does not exist in a sense anymore.
