TLDR: which airports make it worth renewing clear membership?

I got Clear about 6-7 years ago when it was clear (har har) that it would get me through security faster than tsa precheck when I was running late for my flight. I’ve kept renewing it since my credit card paid for the renewal fee, but now I don’t have the fee reimbursement so I’m wondering if it’s worth it. Recently, DigitalID is way faster (when flying delta) and for other airlines usually the regular tsa precheck lines move faster than clear’s since the clear agents create a bottleneck. Should I renew? If the answer is “it depends”, do the benefits of Clear matter more at certain airports? (I noticed they were worth it in STL, for example, but that’s not a major hub)

If I have say, 500ml of one liquid. Can I separate those 500ml of liquid into 5, 100 ml bottles. I just don’t know if airports won’t allow a lot of the same liquid

Hi! I have a very simple question that no one seems to be able to give me as straight answer for. I have had to take piercings out in the past to go through metal detectors, but I recently got my first face piercing and I got my belly button repeirced. They won’t be healed by my flight time, does anyone know if they’ll make me remove them despite not being healed? Would it help if I replaced them with the temporary plastic kinds? Hi everyone, I’m flying from Boston to Oslo, Norway in February. There aren’t any direct flights and I’d have a 1 hour layover in Copenhagen. I’ve never had an international connecting flight before and was wondering if the hour would be enough to get to my next flight. As well, would I need to go through customs or security check again once in Copenhagen before boarding again?

Anticipating a 45-minute Uber ride this early in the morning. Even though the Dulles website says the main check-in counter opens at 3AM, historically the workers don't start arriving till close to 3:45-4AM. Would arriving at 3:30 be okay? Or is that still too early?

Landed in rome fiumicino a dozens times in T3 between midnight and 1am and never succeded to get a taxi in a “normal” way (queuing up / ordering it on the phone). Its usually crowded with confused tourists with a couple clueless members of staff, that can’t really help you. Most of the time I had to split a taxi with strangers (which I don’t mind) but had to wait at least half an hour. Cab services like uber and freenow don’t work, I guess because fiumicino cab drivers want to drive to the capital.

Is there a better option ?

I’m flying home from EBL to EDI on Sunday. It originally went,

EBL 0500 hours - SAW ~0730 hours SAW 0920 hours - EDI 1105 hours

however, a few days ago our travel agency called us and told us our first flight time had changed. It was now

EBL 0750 hours - SAW ~1020 hours

I checked the flight status online and it indeed had changed, but our second flight from SAW to EDI hasnt changed time yet, still displaying 0920 hours. There seems to be no other flights for the next 2 days at least and now i’m worried.

Both flights are with the same airline. Will the second flight be delayed?

Hi y’all, my dad had an altercation (not physical) at a Texas airport last night where their transportation manager accused him of trying to hit her with his car. Granted he was driving somewhat recklessly but he’d made a sharp merge to try to get to me, not seeing the manager who was not vested like the other transportation staff, and got too close to her. She then called police but prior to police arriving, she started saying some racist stuff to my dad. When the police arrived, I tried to explain the situation more calmly than my dad, after which they informed us that he didn’t commit a crime so it’s fine and we can lodge a complaint with the airport. But, the manager got the police to make us give her pictures of our IDs.

I’m worried that we’ll be banned from that airport and how that would work. Also, given the racist remarks she’d said to him, it feels like the escalation of the situation was targeted in some way. What’s even more worrying is that she got my ID as well, and I didn’t even do anything.

I’ve heard that they don’t always follow through on things like this, but she does have pictures of our IDs, which concerns me. Any advice on how to handle this situation?

A friend was recently travelling from Mumbai to London. He was stopped while collecting the boarding pass at the Air India check in counter by Air India crew asking him where he would be staying. Naturally, he said he’d be staying with me. They refused to give him the boarding pass stating he needed a hotel reservation! In all my years of flying, the check in staff have never asked me nor do they have the right to ask where I would stay as I long as I have a valid visa and return ticket!

My friend is a bit weak in English and the staff kept on pestering him for a hotel reservation. At one point, they even asked him why he was travelling to the UK if his English isnt good! Absolutely outrageous. Since when did the airline crew become immigration officers?

i currently live in sacramento for school and i’ll be returning home to long beach in the winter over my winter recess. i want to fly with a weed dispo because i smoke medically (im 18). i would just land and buy a dispo in my city but the taxes on weed are so much higher compared to if i brought one with me. will i be okay if i fly with my pen in my carry on? what about edibles??
