I’m traveling from uk to Barbados in 3 months and I want to know if I can bring a disposable vape with me as I’m underage, I’m not going to use it on the plane or anything I just want to know how I to bring it with me thanks.
Hello, people.
I have a flight to Barcelona soon. I arrive at terminal 1 around 00:30. I have to wait until 5:00 to take the aerobus. When I arrive at the terminal, will I be in a "safe" area to rest? What recommendations would you give me? I only travel with a backpack.
thanks in advance. I have read many things and I would like to know what to expect..
Recently flew with Porter Airlines for the first time. Morning flight was cancelled due to weather. An entirely new flight was created for the next day, and all passengers from the cancelled flight were rebooked to it. My companion and I really needed to arrive at our destination that night, so we decided to wait at the airport and see if we could fly standby on the upcoming evening flight.
The gate agents appeared about an hour before boarding began for the evening flight, which is when we approached them about flying standby. They were the same gate agents from earlier in the day. They said in order to put on our names on the standby list for the evening flight we would need to change our status to standby for the rebooked flight as well. So we would need to risk our status on the confirmed rebooked flight just for a chance at taking the evening flight. I'm curious if this has ever happened to anyone else? I've never flown standby before, but it didn't make any sense to me.
I don't really travel a lot, but when I do I just want to pass through customs as fast as I can, just because I don't really want to have a bad attitude as a first experience in a beautiful place. For instance, there was this time once that this guy at customs threw my passport back, pretty much annoyed cause I didn't understand him when he spoke to me in spanish, me being a native speaker. Anyway, something similar happened today, and I Just feel awful about that fact.
Anyway, Have you ever had any nice experiences of this?
I want to buy some alcohol for my in laws (i’m going from germany to italy with Ryanair) I need the precise rules about the amount of alcohol i can bring on board and what maximum alcohol ranking for an in hand luggage.
I’m traveling from the Midway Chicago airport this Monday and wondering how busy it will be and how much time I should budget to make sure I make it on a 5:00 am flight.
Since every airport seems to be different, and everyone wants to get through security quickly, why don’t they post a big sign that has security line rules? A big sign that you can see while in line, that says “Shoes, Not Belts” or “Shoes and belts and watches” or some variant of that. People could be ready before they even get to the trays. It’s so simple…
It is a ceramic snowman. I would take it either on my carry on or on my personal item bag. It's about 14 inches high by 8 inches wide.
Hi, I'm curious how long can I stay and roam around in the transit area before clearing the immigration checkpoint and taking my baggage.
I will be arriving to Incheon Airport (Seoul, South Korea) at 5.30am and I planned to chill, eat and roam around first before taking my bags/immigration checks as it is still way too early to go out. Is this allowed? And what's the maximum time limit we can stay in the transit area before clearing the immigration checks and taking my baggage.
Please help.. thanks!!
Things that amused me:
Recently had orthopedic surgery done and got titanium plates for my arm. Does this cause issues at the airport? Do I need to bring some sort of proof when I set off alarms? I have social anxiety and I would like to avoid instances where I cause delays in lines, etc. I've read that it's different every time but I'm worried because there are instances where people weren't able to make their flights because of this. Not a frequent flier so I genuinely have no idea what to expect.
If anyone has any experience with Nashville airport you can probably help me. The Nashville thread won't let me post for some reason. I have navigated smaller airports but with BNA I'm having a hard time understanding the pick up process. I've read about a cell lot- is it free parking? Where is it located? I read somewhere else that the cell lot was closed and under construction. I have airport anxiety and I don't want to be left circling around the airport because I'm lost. If someone could reply with a photo of the airport map pointing to exactly where I need to go that would be fantastic because I need visuals. Is this not the kind of lot I can just park in and wait for him to come out of the airport, or do I need to get out of my car and meet him halfway? Thanks!
I saw this event, pretty crazy
Any recommendations for refrigeration for medical supplies for a long layover?
Hey Folks!
I have a flight from T2 with EasyJet that departs at 11:45.
I am checking train times to get to the airport and the best option is one that arrives at 10:52 at Terminal 2.
Is ~20 minutes enough to get to the gate?
I am traveling only with a personal item and only need to get through security (I think)
Hi, I need just one info, because I planning to flight with air China and the flight will stop 9 hours in chengdu airport terminal 1. Waiting for the flight to Bangkok in the transit area, someone know if there is smoking room? 🙏
I was stuck at the Charlotte airport for a few hours on 25th. I could not connect to the airport Wifi (terminal C, D, E), basically it cannot reach the Wifi landing page. Only time I was successfully connected is in the central area. Is Wifi at Charlotte airport always this bad?
I am on a seven hour lay over in DEN right now, and I can't help but noticing all of the songs are instrumental (classical guitar, string quartets, or piano) covers of popular songs. Africa, 7 Rings, Wake Me Up, etc. Thinking back, music isn't a part of my memories or pictures of different airports ever, and I can't think of what a "normal" airport playlist might sound like. This is likely not what DEN plays all day, because I'm here overnight so it's probably just peaceful music, but I don't know how to figure out what DEN's playlist is. Has anyone else ever thought about this or have any resources?
KLM just notified my that now my stay in dubai is 25 hours. I am eligible for transit visa nor i can apply tourist visa. I am landing at 12am on 13th dec and have flight at 12:45am on 14th dec. Full clock. I am confused that when should i book a lounge just as i land in or i can sleep on chairs and book a lounge when i am up around 9-10am . I can only book a lounge for 8 hours. Is it worth it or no? Or what else do you guys recommend me to do. Its taking me mentally, i am a student on budget cant spent too much. Thanks in advance!
I'm flying to Australia from LAX in February. Looking for a direct flight to LAX, to minimize the chance of weather disruption. I'm looking for airport options within about 5 hours of my home in Western NY, and obviously I'd prefer to drive west (or at least not east).
I'm looking at Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Any advice on how easy/hard they are to drive to? Their weather delay or cancellation stats? Any other likely airports I am overlooking?
Thanks for any info or opinions.
I have a flight back home on the 4th of January 2025. It's two flights, the first one from San Antonio to Detroit, the next one from Detroit to Amsterdam.
The layover time for my connective flight is only 38 minutes. I know it's short but I can't change it anymore without paying extra.
If I miss my second flight, how expensive is it gonna be to book a new flight? Just an approximate number so I know how much money to have available. 😭😭😭😭😭
This is my first time buying a flight and flying. Next time I'm definitely gonna pay attention to a layover of more than 2 hours but too late now 😭
I bought the flight from Amsterdam to San Antonio and back for a total of 862,70€ (All four flights). I'm flying with Delta Airlines.
Y’all I just went through security at KLIA Terminal 2 and you don’t have to go through XR or body scan??? This is the first time in my life I’ve ever seen this. They do have a bag XR, but there isn’t really even anyone telling you what to put through it. You don’t have to empty your pockets or shoes or even get pat down? Is this safe? What if someone brings something through on their body? I’m at a loss for words.
I booked a flight through Booking.com to Mexico City and the flight was cancelled. I want to get a refund for my trip, but they said we must contact the airlines directly and the airlines said that they cannot even give a travel credit. They changed our flight to one three days later, limiting the trip to two days. Since this is a major disruption in our plans I’m shocked they have such shitty customer service.
Has anyone experienced this before?
So I lost my flight, because I didn't know Frankfrut(Hahn) is located in different city, different state, 80 kilometers away from Frankfurt. And I lost my flight and hotel and the whole vacation. I read in other post in reddit, that this airport was previously called Hahn airport, but it was renamed by Ryanair, which baught that airport. And I booked my flight and hotel from Ryanair and they refused to pay me refund.
Lufthansa has sued Ryanair for misleading airport name and misleading advertisment. but apperantly it didn't work.
Now I want to know, as a customer who faced misleading information, what can I do? how can I make a compliment against RyanAir which changed the airport name and didn't write the name of airport clearly in my ticket?
Has anyone visited India for h1b stamping from USA via EU or UK?
Do you need transit visa, if h1b has expired ? Preferably KLM Dutch airlines and British Airways.
So I bought this Japanese zester from Japan as a gift and I want to bring it with me when I fly to see them. Though I'm just going for a weekend and I don't want to check a bag. It's called a Oroshigane grater. I'm wondering if there will be any issue bringing this on the plane? And if so would I be able to check it if I can't bring it through security?
if it’s possible to enter the check-in area of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) international Departure terminal as a visitor. I’ve heard about visitor passes, but I’m not sure about the specifics.
