My wife and I bonded when we were 15 over Kubrick's The Shining, and 237 became a symbol for us long before a popular documentary was released. The number has popped up everywhere over the course of our relationship (18 years). I know this is mostly a case of pareidolia, but...

This year, our daughter is starting Jr. High and was randomly assigned a locker number. When she got home, she said "DAD! Guess what locker number I got?" I thought to myself, "237? No fucking way." So I childishly said "42069?"

She rolled her eyes and shouted "TWO THIRTY-SEVEN!"
