Place for non-melodic samples like dialogue clips from movies, interesting personal audio recordings from places like train places and nature, quick sounds like a glass breaking which could be placed in sampler or sequencer, and historical sounds like NASA sounds and famous speeches etc.
ANNOUNCEMENT: IF YOU USED A SAMPLE FROM THIS THREAD PLEASE SHARE YOUR WORK WITH US BY POSTING IT HERE
Please only submit samples that follow these rules:
No melodic samples - That means please dont post any songs or parts of songs here. If your sample is short enough to encompass one note which can be vocoded or adjusted in a sequencer then you can post it here, but no melodies!
All samples must be copyright free. Anyone should be able to use these samples without worry of prosecution.
If your sample has A note in it i.e. a tone from an interesting synth or a clip of a vocal and you know the note please tell us what note it is.
Requests are allowed, but please mark the request by putting [Request] at the beginning of your post.
If you made the sample yourself (like you recorded the sound of birds in your backyard etc.) then tag it [Sampled] at the beginning of your post. Links to other websites like youtube or soundcloud dont need a tag.
Please only submit samples without any music in the background.
Please follow the format: Name of Sample - Description (Source) <note>
