I’ve wanted to get into X-wing for years now and was finally going to pull the trigger on a core set when I realized it’s been cancelled? Does this mean the game is not worth getting or is there still enough pieces out there to get a decent collection together for casual play? Are tournaments still playable with a limited supply of pieces? Thanks for any advice you can give!

If you were able to bring any x wing miniature to a real life size and functionality which would you choose and why? I'd want to bring a y wing to life.

Yeah, I know, this is discontinued and I'm beyond late to the party. At this point is the 1.0 or 2.0 core set better to get? Or does it even matter?

I'm looking at buying a Rebel Transport that only comes with 1.0 stuff. I have a trident, will the pegs and base for that work with the transport or is there something special that comes in the conversion kit that I need?

I'm fine to print my own cardboard, or maybe not even have any and just use it for HOTAC without cardboard since I'm pretty sure I'll be able to identify which ship is the transport when playing

Hey there everyone! New player here, and I was wondering, about proximity mines:

• What happens if the mine overlaps an asteroid?
• What happens if it overlaps another ship?

I've seen different places saying different things. For the ship question, I've seen places claiming that it detonates immediately, and one of the ships affected suffers the results. But I've also seen other places claiming that this happens only once the ship moves, provided it overlaps with the mine at some point in that move...

Hey all, found a little game store in Kingston, Ontario, Canada that still has some 2.0/1.0 in stock. Store is called action packed comics, shipping was reasonable for me. Got a tie heavy and a hwk. Haooy hunting and happy holidays.

I came up with a 6'x6' mat by combining two 3'x3' mats and it looks awesome to play on. They are two different mats.

I wanted to wait to post any photos of my collection until I could get pictures of each of the 7 factions, but can't resist the urge. So for now, it is just the empire.

Hello fellow pilots. My friend and I were very into X-Wing through 1st and 2nd edition. When the game changed hands we were already feeling a bit burned out on it and didn't jump to 2.5, which to me looked like it would be the last nail in the games coffin anyway. We have been playing a lot of Warcry for the past two years, but lately we have both felt like playing some 2.0 X-Wing. Is there currently an app or website like warcrier for list building for the 2.0 game? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Just wondering if the gozanti class cruiser can carry AT ST?

If a ship like the Ghost has a turret load out and attacks from the front arc at it's primary attack, does Veteran Turret Gunner allow firing the turret out the front too (assuming it's pointing that way)? Is that reusing the front arc or is that fine since the first attack was not a turret attack? Or can one only do the bonus attack from the back or sides?

I have just recently won a used GR-75 at my local game store for our sithmas x wing game. It came with everything I needed for it besides a huge ship movement template and it's damage deck. I have looked everywhere I can think of on the internet but can't seem to just those two specific items. Can anyone help me out?

My buddy got into x wing last year and bought a handful of first order ships. I fly almost exclusively scum and villainy so I'm not super familiar with how first order plays. Is there a feesable 20 point list he could build using the beta points and using the following ships?
