Hey, apologies if this is in the wrong place but the band I'm in are on the hunt for a vocalist.
We're a 3 piece Chester/Wrexham based progressive punk/metal band with a backlog of about 8 songs currently and with more in the works.
There are some demo recordings below to give you an idea of what we’re about.
As for us, we are currently a 3-piece and looking to expand to include a singer. We consist of a guitarist, bassist and drummer and are in our early 30s.
We’re based in Chester/Wrexham but predominantly practice in a unit in Wrexham’s industrial estate. Most of us are happy to give lifts if that’s needed.
No gear necessary, just a promising voice and some enthusiasm

Thanks!
Hi everyone!
I’ve just moved to Wrexham after spending the last two years in London, and I’m so excited to explore everything this town has to offer!
I was wondering if you lovely folks could recommend some must-visit spots—whether it’s cozy pubs, charming cafes, fun hangout spots, or even scenic places for a walk or a bit of trekking. I’d love to find some hidden gems or just great places to soak in the beauty of the area.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know Wrexham and its community, so any suggestions would be amazing. Thanks so much in advance!
Anybody got any recommendations for best Sunday ‘full English’ in town?! Ideally a proper greasy spoon type place with tea in mugs and fried bread as an option! Thanks.
I got long hair and planning to cut it. But I'm afraid of getting it messed up. So I open to get suggestion from you people. Imma student so I can't afford expensive haircuts. So if you guys know any . Please let me know. It would be of great help
Taken to reading in Bellevue park but since someone ripped a book straight out of my hand and ripped it to pieces, I am looking for an indoor comfortable place to do some of my reading? Anyone has recommendations?
From what I can see online it doesn't look like we have an Ultimate team in Wrexham, not even in the University.
I would love to get one started but it requires someone a bit more experienced to help, I've been out of the game for years.
If interested please comment here or message me.
It seems like such a good space but what they have done with it right now feels like a big miss to me.
I have a few ideas on what could improve it and encourage more footfall but I'd be keen to hear your ideas..
Message me if you want my spare adult ticket for Venom: The Last Dance at Odeon in Eagles Meadow. It's for Friday 25th (Today) at 6:20pm. Seat J19.
Hey guys, Wrexham Round Table are bringing their annual santa float around communities in Wrexham and are looking for local business to pledge a donation of sweets or gifts that can be distributed on our rounds. Please can anyone tag or suggest anyone that might be able to help.
My wife and I are coming close to having the ability up and move to Europe from Canada due to myself being an independent game developer and she has UK citizenship from her mum, and because we don't need to be tied to a location, we narrowed to Wrexham area for a few reason.
Cost, town size, proximity to larger cities, we're also wanting to be out of the way but not out in a field(if that makes sense). Also Wrexham is about the same size as where we currently live, except there more than a grocery, Canadian Tire, and Dollar Store to do your intown shopping.
This is about 18 months out, but if you know anything about developers, end goal and planning is important to us.
Any input, suggestions, or generalized shag offs?
Also the weather is better than here, so that doesn't scare me.
I’m looking for a couple of round wrapped hay bales for my horses for over the cold winter months. I’m just outside of Wrexham with a stable. Any suggestions would be great!
Hi everyone! My friend and I will be traveling to the UK tomorrow and then heading to Wrexham on Monday the 21st. I'm very excited about the trip and can’t wait to check out your city! Would anyone want to hang out or go on a pub crawl with us?
We’re also going to the home game on Tuesday night against Huddersfield
I have the opportunity to go studying abroad for one year for my bachelor. I can either go to Wrexham or some random town in Finland. I didn't find a lot though google except some pubs or student clubs. How is it being a student (mid-20s) in Wrexham? Hows the nightlife? How is living there? Basically: Would you recommend it?
Hey all - we are in Wrexham for 24 hours for the match tomorrow. We made it to the official club store and were kind of surprised at the merchandise selection. They have an amazing selection of kits, but we cheesy Americans tend to lean towards tshirts. Do any of you lovely locals know where we can find some tshirts in the town center?
Hi, my boyfriend and I just moved to Bangor on Dee and we don't know anyone. We are in our early 20s and would like to meet with other couples. We struggle to meet young people in Bangor on Dee and are happy to meeting people in Wrexham. Why is it so hard to make friends in your 20s 😭
Hi everyone! I'm writing a thesis that studies ownership changes in football and Wrexham is the perfect candidate to study. I'm gathering anonymous feedback on how mergers and ownership changes impact clubs, and your input could help shape future decisions and challenge FA policies. [Take the 10-minute survey here] and make sure the fan perspective is heard! Thank you all so much!
Hello everyone!
My uncle is traveling from Dublin to the UK, and is hoping to make stops in Liverpool or Manchester, and Wrexham. I’ve been looking online at the train schedules and tickets, but wanted to ask if anyone had any specific tips or advice for traveling between the three cities. He’s from South America (but speaks English) so any and all guidance, no matter how basic, would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Looking for your next favourite game? Heard of Crokinole and looking for a chance to play? Already playing and want to to compete in a friendly and exciting tournament?
The Wales Crokinole Clash will be held on October 26th at Tŷ Pawb. You can find out more about the game and get tickets for the tournament here: www.crokinoleuk.com
I especially want to point out the Juniors tournament which is FREE to enter for 13 and under (accompanied by an adult/guardian) and will run from 12pm - 1:30pm with prizes on offer.
If you have never played Crokinole before don't worry, it's a great game and the atmosphere at the tournament will be really friendly and welcoming to all levels.

Looking to get a Wrexham magnet as a souvenir. Went to the Tourist Information center but it was mostly generic Wales magnets.
