What female character do you suspect was written for her pain to be celebrated/salivated over

I'll start: Cinder Fall from RWBY. For those of you who don't know, Cinder is basically an evil version of Cinderella. She's an abused girl character who was written to do terrible, sometimes needlessly cruel things to provoke a violent response from the audience. She killed two beloved characters who didn't really need to be killed. The audience craves her pain, some saying her death won't be satisfying if it isn't painful enough. People have shared their fantasies about her being gutted, having her organs taken out, skinned, beheaded, bludgeoned, cut up with her body parts spread across the kingdoms, and a few other things I won't mention. Not even Tyrian, a guy in the show who is also a serial killer, gets those kinds of fantasies. One of the dudes who wrote her said that they didn't want us to have sympathy for her, that they wanted us to want her to get everything she has coming to her and that they want us to have sympathy for her abuser instead. Her current abuser is a spoiled evil witch queen who is trying to destroy the world. The witch is the girl who had everything, while Cinder is the girl who had nothing. I've seen someone speculate that Cinder must be based on someone's ex girlfriend with the cruel way she was written. I've seen another speculate that she must be based on someone's annoying abused sister who was a drain on the family. What characters do you suspect were written so that the audience would crave their pain?

Sexism in Fantasy

not sure if this is welcome, but I just stumbled upon this great community and thought this discourse belonged here:

Ms. Marvel ep.1 was awesome! (No spoilers, please)

Did anyone else watch? As much as I like the MCU, I think this was the first show/film in a while that I genuinely got caught up in.

anti "women in refrigerators"

I have been against "Women in Refrigerators," the common theme in male-centered action films or comics where the woman is just a thing to happen to the man and move his plot along. So, I've been writing an erotic batman fanfic/vampire erotica series for a while now. this series has Jada Versailles as the main character in all 3 books and explores her experiences. I would like to see if anyone connects with my work.

*My smart smut does not glorify abusive relationships. It has been a way for me to process my stuff and write about sex, healing, and closeness in a safe space. Has a great scene where Alfred helps her come out of a PTSD flashback.

Set in the late 90s/early 00s.

Rating - teen and up- this is the PG13 version of my series

Summary - Cheshire started as Jade Nguyen like in the comics, but over the years she turned into Japanese Brazilian art gallery owner/ cat burglar Jada Versailles. Batman and Cheshire run into each other in Indonesia while pursuing the same criminals and then they are stuck together on a desert island. Bruce is in his mid-thirties and nearing retirement. It might be time to settle down and think about a family. But will Alfred approve of this new love interest?
Bruce and Jada will go through a lot of trauma and comforting and recovery as the series goes on.
also, see my fb page for photos i use to picture my characters. warning, some of the works promoted here are NOT rated Teen but are adults only. https://www.facebook.com/ValuciaC

when my fiction isn't always fanfic and isn't always romance...

Hello all. I have been writing about one character for a very long time. She started out as an existing comic book character, but I changed so much about her that she's just about an original character at this point. Some of the stories in this series contain a ton of erotica, some none at all.

I don't know if my writing is only for women, but I do know that a lot of comic books are written for male audiences and objectify women. And romance books are generally not thought provoking, IMO. So, other than fanfiction sites, where do you think I should post my stuff? Not for money, just looking for people who like thought provoking, funny, sexy fiction with a dab of Batman and Strangers in Paradise mixed in.

Jada Versailles is a Japanese/Brazilian art gallery owner and art thief. Was Cheshire, Jade Nguyen. Her first major partner is a bad guy. Supernatural elements. There is sort of a MeToo vibe because it explores how smart women find themselves with abusive partners. In the second book, her partner is Batman. I feel like making a fake Batman character and building a superhero world from the ground up would not be worth it. The third book, I haven't posted yet, but is all original characters.

Where can I find people who like this? https://archiveofourown.org/users/JadaVersailles/works

If you take a look, thanks! (Some portions are Explicit/rated x and others are PG13. trigger warnings posted)
