My friend and I are going to be in wine country for 6 days (8 total but not counting the 2 travel days). We want to do some nights in Sonoma county and some in Napa but every time I try to make a plan I get overwhelmed and stop. We just want to visit the cute/quaint wineries. Anyone have suggestions?! We land in San Francisco and Iβm so directionally challenged Iβm not sure where to go first.
We are thinking about going to napa next weekend, but realize that the weather is going to be rainy or cloudy
would love to get some suggestion on winery for couples
I am going on a girls trip to Glen Ellen in March. We are pricing out wine tours and they are all relatively expensive when you factor in the cost of the tastings with it. When I am looking at the map, it seems like there are soooo many wineries within very close proximity of one another. It seems very doable to walk and/or take a couple of Uber rides.
Is it worth it to do the wine tour? Or can we still get what we are looking for by self-guiding and popping in to wineries we find along the way? We are all wine lovers, but none of us are connoisseurs by any means. We just want to hop around and try out different wines from different places. Some of us are on a budget, so Iβm just wondering if our money is better spent on tastings/bringing home bottles, or if we really should splurge for a tour.
Hi,
My name is Jacob and I am a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, that is studying BioResource and Agricultural Engineering. I'm graduating this weekend and moving up to Napa in about 2 weeks, where I will be starting a job up there. However, I have realized that the Napa house market is quite expensive. I am reaching out to see if anyone has a connection or knows of someone with a vacant backhouse or even a house on a property? I am more than willing to manage the landscape or do manual labor work on the side to keep a win win situation. I will be working near downtown Napa, but am more than willing to commute a decent amount. Let me know if anyone can help out. Thanks!
