One of my hobbies is home brewing cider, so I have more than I could possibly drink.
I’d like some suggestions on what I could make with it. Bonus points for out of the box suggestions and veggie-based ideas, too.
So a new roommate arrived at my place yesterday and I wanna make him dinner to welcome him/show that I’m a competent adult somehow. The main ingredients that I have right now that I want to use up are about four potatoes and some canned salmon. I have milk, a variety of spices, a bag of frozen veggies, rice, and other basic staples like flour/pasta/etc. there’s a grocery store nearby my place so if I need to, I can go get some extra stuff, but I don’t want to make it into a huge trip. What are some relatively straightforward but yummy recipes I can make with what I have? (If there’s a specific spice/ingredient suggestion, I can also check to see if I have it)
What are your favorite pastas
My friend groups annual Friendsgiving historically has done a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. However, this year, we are doing it the day after Thanksgiving, and have decided to do a “appetizer” only type of Friendsgiving where everyone brings an appetizer. However, as the host, I would like my appetizer to be a little more filling with some sort of protein.
Any good recommendations? I’m thinking of jalapeno poppers and loaded potato wedges.
Edit: lots of great suggestions. Thanks everyone!
My husband and I both bought milk so now we have a lot. What can I make with it. Right now I’m thinking milk bread and rice pudding. What else can I make? Its full fat
I can only eat so much chicken noodle / chicken and rice soup
We went to an oyster roast and a lot of the oysters were basically raw, but just a little cooked. So we shucked them and put them in a pot over a sterno can to heat them which did nothing. So I have at least a quart or two of partially cooked oysters in their broth and a little butter. What should I make with them?
I’m going to use some of them for a dish my mom makes that’s oysters, cheddar, jalapeños and baked for a few mins and served with crackers but I’ve still got a ton left.
The default would be oyster stew if I can’t figure out something else, if you have a favorite recipe, share it please.
I love spicy and am willing to try new things, what ideas do you have?

Hi everyone,
I have a can of cannellini beans and I'm looking for some creative and tasty recipes to use them in. What are your favorite dishes to make with cannellini beans? Any tips or unique ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Made refried beans at work for the nacho bar, no one wanted them, boss told me to take them home. If it matters they're black beans.
What should I make with three quarters of a bag of spinach, milk, potatoes, shredded cheese, eggs, sour cream, chicken broth all opened in my fridge. I do have the ability to run to the store to buy additional ingredients but I would love any ideas to use these items up before they go bad!! I also have a spice cabinet with basic staples and butter.
My partner and I will be hosting dinner for two family members in a couple days. I asked our guests to pick the cuisine, and they chose Italian. I want to do it up with a nice 3 or 4 course meal and a main course that shows well.
My first hurdle is the dietary restrictions between the four of us (see list below). My second hurdle is that I want it to be reasonably authentic, but I'm from the Midwest US and I don't truly know what authentic Italian means. Apparently chicken is not to be served with pasta? 🤔
I'm a pretty solid intermediate level cook with a gas stove and oven, and I prefer to cook from scratch when I can. My cookware is mostly stainless steel and glass, no stoneware. I also have a large steamer basket, an electric griddle, a rice cooker, and an electric air fryer with a grill insert.
My partner's contribution will be his homemade olive oil dough, which I'm thinking of having him make into a foccasia or a dipping bread for one of the courses. Other ideas are welcome.

Available ingredients that I think are relevant:
I can pick up other ingredients from the store, especially fresh produce or cheese which I'm low on at the moment, or maybe a chicken to roast.
What to make with a massive amount of crab ragoon dip, it's on the sweeter side cause of the Thai Chile sauce in it. Making proper ragoons need not apply.

I do NOT have access to a microwave, slow cooker, instant pot, rice cooker, steamer, nor an air fryer. I have the oven and stove top ONLY.
Coworker gave me a Spaghetti Squash. I’ve never had it but my boyfriend has and loves it. We are trying to be dairy/gluten free and only eat meats that have no preservatives, curing agents, etc. Any ideas?
Yesterday was a pretty lackluster halloween, only 2 kids came to trick or treat, leaving me with way too much left , I have thought of putting them in drinks and such but there is just too many..
A friend gifted these two squash, I’ve never cooked with them before, looking for ideas. I placed the chocolate bar for scale, to help with suggestions!
Say someone was to procure 50 lbs of carrots, what can you do with them? I feel like I've tried everything.

Edit: Thanks for the recipes, everyone. I decided on a recipe for today, but I'm keeping all of these for future use, so keep them coming!
