This subreddit and /r/TheGraniteState were created right around the same time (this one actually came first, not that it really matters), but this one never took off. If anyone would like to take a shot at growing this subreddit, let me know and I will invite you before stepping away.

So I'm a teen looking at moving to NH after college. I want to go into IT how prevelant are IT jobs here?
I love the convenience of flying out of MHT and try to avoid Logan Airport whenever I can, but with MHT airfares generally on the rise (or not decreasing like they are elsewhere) and parking rates increasing there in December, you can literally save hundreds flying out of Boston sometimes. The one tricky thing with Logan is their exorbitant parking rates, but there’s a hack for that too if you’re not keen on a long bus ride like me: Park-sleep-fly packages from nearby hotels. I just grabbed a night at the Hampton Inn Boston Logan for a trip next month for $99 + tax which included the overnight stay (can either be the night before departure OR the night of arrival home), 9 days of parking at the hotel and a shuttle ride to and from the airport. I’ve done this before and it’s worked out fantastically. It’s especially nice if you have a flight leaving really early or coming in really late. TF Green in Providence has these options too but their parking is cheap, so I’d only recommend it if you actually need to spend a night for whatever reason.
I bought today’s hotel stay from parksleepfly.com. Sometimes it can be cheaper to book directly through the hotel but either way they’re a good resource for finding hotel options.
My family and I want to move to the upper valley, with the kearsarge district as our target. We are seeking 3 bedrooms and can pay $1500 to $2000 per month in rent. Do I have any hope of finding anything?
As a service to those visiting or considering a move to New Hampshire, this thread will serve as a place for readers to showcase their hometown/current town of residence. Please, only one top-level comment per town. I will update this post occasionally with a list of covered towns so no one is having to crawl through comments to determine if their town of interest is already there.
Pros/cons are welcomed but it would be nice if we could keep discussions on a generally positive/constructive note. :)

Those of you who have spent time in that other sub are probably familiar with the disdain for recurring questions about moving to New Hampshire. I think it's an important topic, so I am going to make it a primary mission of this sub to supply the answers people are seeking. This stickied thread will serve as a place to solicit as well as offer information and advice for moving to New Hampshire.
New "moving to NH" threads are also welcomed.
So since /u/MikeUptonPhoto and I both independently created New Hampshire-related subs, I was thinking it would be nice if /r/TheGraniteState and /r/welcometonh could complement each other rather than necessarily compete for visitors. Although all topics will be welcomed here, I am open to ideas on the types of topics that we could encourage here. Given its name, I was thinking this sub might be geared toward topics of interest to folks considering a move or visit to NH? Maybe a "moving to NH" sticky would be a good starting point? I know some people get a bit annoyed with the prevalence of those posts in other subs.
