Wegmans is a supermarket located in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States.
We all love Wegmans. I can tell, we found this place, and it's amazing. There are very few places where people can truly say that they feel at home shopping. Wegmans is one of those places.

What happen to all the part time jobs for the current wegmans employees internal ?
Hope it's an acronym for something else...
I was looking to be rehired and I made it to the interview but the recruiter didn’t seem to like me. Now I’m getting rejected for everything. Can i reapply after a period of time and not be auto-rejected?
I have had their sushi a few times now and it is always yummy.
Just did my interview today. I would really like to work at Wegmans but I also really like dying my hair non-natural colors. I know there's one employee at my local Wegmans who has green hair, but I haven't seen anyone else. I was wondering if it's allowed. I'll be in the back washing dishes btw.
Am I able to use my paid time off on my off days?
hopefully whoever comes in in the morning appreciates this😭
Has anyone else noticed that there is much less produce lately. and that the quality is often so bad that it isn’t worth getting? I frequently forced to buy pre bagged that I don’t want. I’ve spoken to the folks in the produce department and they seem to agree that it’s a conscious choice on Wegmans part to stock less produce and inferior quality produce.
anyone know when the holiday coupons are coming this year?
hey everyone! i’m currently a cashier about to switch to part time front end coordinator. i get paid $16/hour as a cashier & i was wondering if as the front end coordinator will i get paid more or the same?
Why does wegmans soup have a after taste
i’ve been working full time in bakery for the past few months now and i’m starting to think it just isn’t for me. there’s too much going on and it gets too chaotic…sometimes it makes me miss produce which while it had its times that were busier than others, it was as a whole much more chill, at least at my store. i had to switch departments though cuz they couldn’t give me full time hours.
right now the only position that’s hiring full time in my area is pharmacy tech but i don’t know the first thing about any of that so i’m probably not qualified lol. but just to keep my eyes out, is there any positions that are more chill? perhaps more in the background, less customer facing?
So I know we donate a lot of food to food banks . Is there any sort of information on how to be a recipient of those food banks? I've been searching LIVWELL but I find the site hard to navigate. I know you can call SOCIAL Services but they aren't always very helpful. I've just heard that Wegmans has a lot of assistance programs for its employees. I'm in a tight spot now cause life loves to throw curve balls. I don't know who to ask at work and I'm kinda embraced about it. Any Advice or Thoughts are greatly appreciated.
i’m trying to use some of my flex time for 3 days i’m taking off. what do i put for start time? apparently no one at my store knows either
My daughter got married this month and we had to provide the beer, wine, etc. I purchased way too much wine and we have a ton left. Receipt is dated September 30th and purchased at the Parsippany, NJ store. I would assume it’s too late to return it? Thank you .
When I first started working at Wegmans three years ago, I was a cashier and within five months got a position as a coordinator. I feel like back then, if you saw a coordinator on a register it meant that things were *really* busy. Now, I feel like things have changed. If I'm not running curbside, I feel as though I'm on register for half of my shift. Sometimes more than.
Granted, I work at one of the busiest stores. To protect my own privacy, I won't say which one - but there is never a moment where the cashiers can just stand without someone in their line except for early in the morning and very late in the evening.
It gets very frustrating. I worked very, very hard as a cashier and constantly helped with jobs because I wanted to get coordinator to get OFF register (I have slight autism, and the lights and noise of being on register are very difficult for me, to a point where I have to wear ear plugs on bad days to dull the noise.) Even if it meant taking on a lot of responsibilities.
But lately, it feels like more and more of our management role has been sacrificed for register. As Coordinators, we used to have a lot of responsibilities - responsibilities that I *wanted* to have. Now, it feels like I'm just an overpaid, glorified cashier who gets thrown on at the slightest convenience, spending more than half of my shift scanning groceries rather than doing the job I intended. I don't even feel like management anymore.
It might sound silly - but I prefer getting curbside shifts because I'm able to do more coordinator things than when I have COORDINATOR shifts. On curbside, I can still answer lights and help people between orders, but if I get a coordinator shift? I do less coordinating because I'm just on register the whole time.
Is it like this at other stores? How often do you see FE coordinators getting on registers?
I told Wegmans that I would be dressing up as the Invisible Man for Halloween, and they’d think I didn’t show up to work when really I was just invisible—but unfortunately, they saw right through me, and my plans were foiled. I thought I was being transparent with them about my costume idea, but I guess my intentions were too clear, so I decided instead, to dress up as the Invisible Man in more casual attire. Needless to say, I think people liked my costume, and I really felt seen today.
I have a green reusable mesh tote from Wegmans that we has to be from the 90s. I desperately need another one of these bags. I have scoured the net trying to find someone selling them but have had no success. I can’t even find a picture of one of these online!
Does anyone have any idea where I can get ahold of another one of these totes??
Thanks!!
Hello!
I recently submitted a time off request in Vantage, but checking on it today I see that it shows as "Suspended." Anyone know what that means?
I grew up with Wegmans being the “fancy” local grocery store.
Then I moved to another state and began referencing “castle Wegmans”. Then discovered more castle Wegmans than my now dumpy hometown store.
Found one just as lousy, but all have been nicer. Been to dozens across several states btw.
As title says, HOW DO I GET A JOB THERE?! I’ve been trying to get a job there for almost a year now and they opened a cashier job. I applied and got rejected even though I have pretty good experience. I called to see why or if I was possibly blacklisted or something. (There’s no reason for me to be at least I don’t think so?) The hiring manager said that they keep interview notes and they’re valid for six months apparently. She said it wasn’t a blacklisted type of thing.
I don’t know if this is applicable but they did once contact me for an in person interview but I didn’t schedule it. This was in January. I didn’t have phone service or transportation at the time.
What can I do and what does this mean for me? I just really want to work there so any tips would be appreciated!!
I just made these, and thought they were super good. Nothing comes up on google when I search them, are they brand new or just super slept on? If anybody’s tried them please chime up!
Strong recommend!
edit: Referring to the Wegman’s house brand. Also if you google them now this post comes up, so officially there is one result as of yesterday!
Did you know that SVP’s earn close if not $1million dollars a year. Store Managers make about $200,000++ Area Managers $150,000++
Hi all,
I have a phone interview coming up for a dishwasher position. What should I know moving forward (regarding the interview or the job itself)? What kind of interview questions do they ask? How often were you up to your neck in dishes? Is it a challenging job?
I’m currently training a new manager from another store. I’m interested in feedback on:
What worked for you (the trainer) as far as what you focused on/structure of the day etc to provide the best learning experience possible.
What did you feel was most beneficial as a trainee? What was not helpful from the leadership tasked with your training?
Don't we normally get the yearly retirement contribution from the company late September or early in October? Unless I missed something it hasn't happened yet. Anyone know anything about this? TIA
I swear that I specifically used to buy them because they had no emulsifiers, unlike other cheap chocolate chip brands, but I bought a new bag tonight, ate a couple, and immediately noticed that they had an odd chemical taste. Sure enough, bam, sunflower lecithin listed in the ingredients. Everything I find on google lists it as one of the ingredients, but I swear it wasn't there.
There's one review on Wegmans.com from three days ago of someone else complaining about a chemical taste that wasn't there before, so I'm pretty sure I'm right, but if anybody has a six month old bag floating around their pantry and would take a picture of the nutritional info to confirm it, I would grateful so I can write Danny an email telling him to take out the lecithin
