Found this little one on the floor and I gave him or her some water on a paper towel. I think they drank some and now I don’t know what to do with it? Should I put it outside?

Not sure how long this weevil has been in our bedroom. It was just hit by the foot of a child by accident and looked to be playing dead but not sure if injured as well, has been moving legs. Tried leaving it go for a bit and it would just wiggle it’s legs around so I tried letting it use some dry moss to help it flip over. Maybe needs water or food depending on how long it’s been in the bedroom, idk much about their needs and frequency when it comes to water and food.

Is there anything we can do to help the weevil?

Ladies & gentlemen… I’ve found my very first weevil. And it’s Boots & Snoots herself. Very beautiful, very powerful. I haven’t gotten married yet, but now I don’t think I need to. I’ve experienced all the joy, if not more, that comes with matrimony. The birth of my first child will feel underwhelming in comparison to this monumental occasion. Graduating with my PHD will be a lesser accomplishment. I will meet God and look him in the face and shake my head with disapproval, for if he was perfect, he would be an Acorn Weevil. It’s Weevil Time.
