Hey! I’m trying to buy a pass on Monday and I am desperately trying to make sure I can buy one!
What time do they go on sale? That way I’m ready to go!
Thank you!!!
im a pre-social work major wanting to get my msw in a few years, and the msw application requires a college-level stats class. should i take it now, as a freshman, or wait until im admitted to the bsw program? im not a math person by any means and there are other QE classes i could take for my minor (healthcare ethics) so is it worth it to take it early?
Hi! I'm a high school senior interested in studying nursing and as this is one of my options, I was interested in how the nursing program is, as well as Wayne as a whole compared to other universities in Michigan.
Anyone else here graduated from MISB in the last 2 years and still can’t land a job? Starting to get irritated I spent all this time and money and it’s impossible to land an entry level job even with referrals.
Who do I report advisors too?
Even if you don’t struggle in math ESP/RSP is extraordinary. They care, they help, take advantage!
I plan to take it with the porfessor called zhu zhe and I've seen some interesting reviews. For those who have taken it, what can I expect?
Hi everyone! I'm a pre-MLS major seeking people who are in the program to help me answer some questions, as I'm about to apply to its professional program soon.
Is the interview hard?
How difficult is it to get in?
If I don't get the admission, what's next?
Thank you in advance!
Can freshman live off campus? Don’t wanna live in dorms
Im transferring from HFC and my GPA rn is 2.466 The engineering requirement is 2.5.
I plan on applying soon, but is it possible that I'd get rejected because im not at 2.5?
By the time the fall semester ends my GPA should be above a 2.5 but I obviously cant wait until my grades are up.
Please let me know, Thanks!
Im a freshman and college and wanna make the most of it by trying different courses to see if I’d like to do it as a hobby. Next Semester im taking photography just to see if I like it. Im just wondering what other classes there are that I could make a hobby of.
Side note: Is there a auto shop class? Ive been seeing people modding cars and i thought it would be cool to take an autoshop class to learn the basics of car maintenance and see if I like any of that stuff.
Hi! I am a prospective transfer student meeting with my advisor and I had a couple questions regarding people’s experience or wanted to see if anyone had any general advice for me :)
I am meeting via zoom, should I send my transcripts in an email to my advisor beforehand? I am first gen and navigating the college process by myself so anything would be helpful!
Someone please tell me failing calculus 2 at Wayne is normal before I jump a bridge
Hey Everyone. I need to take PS1010 as a gen ed requirement. Several professors are offering this course. Any recommendations?
hoping to get 3 extra tickets to the 9am and 3 extra for the 2pm commencement ceremony this Saturday. I'd be willing to pay for them! Pm me if you have tickets to sell.
I know A&P is going to be difficult, but should I take it during the summer? If I do I will only be taking the lecture and lab for it.. any tips or opinions?
Has anyone submitted a graduate application and on the application checklist it shows two boxes for unofficial transcripts? Like idk why there's two and not just one. Also the box for unofficial English proficiency scores shows as received but I didn't upload any scores and I'm a Canadian student (so I don't even need to)
I’m a junior majoring in supply chain. Next semester I’m only taking 9 credits for my business classes, and the rest will be electives. Is there any elective classes you guys enjoyed?
Did anyone have Prof Farhat Chowdhury for ECO 2010 this fall semester? It seems like she’s a new teacher here and has no reviews on ratemyprofessor.com so wanted to see if anyone has any experience with her, as she’s the only teacher offering ECO 2010 online for winter!
Should I withdraw from BIO 1050 as a pre-nursing major if I know I won’t have a grade that looks good on my transcript (A or B)? By the end of the semester I’ll have 3 A’s and one B, if I stay in BIO the highest I would be able to get my current grade up to is probably a C- or C.
And if I do withdraw, would that mean I would have to take it again next semester, and than BIO 1510 with lab the corresponding year?
I’ve already emailed my advisor, just waiting to hear back from her. Any advice would be appreciated tho!
Hi, does anyone know if there’s a place on or near campus that I can go to vote early in person before election day?
For Bio 3100, Jared Schrader is teaching in the winter semester. I was wondering if anyone has taken him and knows how he teaches, how his exams are, if attendance is mandatory, if lecture is recorded, if there’s iClicker? I did look at his rmp, but some comments seemed a bit contradictory 😅 thank you!
Hi everyone, I have a quick question. Let’s say someone has difficulty being in open spaces and needs support to get to class. Would Wayne State University accommodate this kind of request? Does anyone know if they offer assistance for this, and if so, how to go about getting that support? Any help or advice is appreciated!
Thanks!
Anyone have either Jian Huang or Nausheen Shah for physics? Taking the class next semester with them.
Just wanted to know if there is anything happening on Halloween. I have no plans that day and kinda want to go do something besides sit at home after class.
I know the UGL and Mort Harris gym closes at 11 most days, but I’d like to know if anything closes past midnight
Also was wondering what is the course load for anyone who has taken Psych research methods in psychology? Or even a professor they recommend.
My main classes this semester are really tough so I need a easy class that i wont really need to study for maybe just like hw, and essays or stuff like that. I've taken classes like this for my cultural inquiry and DEI. Please let me know if anyone know any professors or classes like this.
