Homs | Brutal Attack on Singer Baha Al-Youssef's Family
On January 5, 2025, an armed group reportedly linked to HTS stormed the home of renowned Syrian singer Baha Al-Youssef in the Jab Al-Jandali area of Homs. The attack, described as sectarian in nature, left multiple victims and has intensified concerns over the ongoing violence targeting civilians across different communities in Syria.
Details of the War Crimes
• Murder: Al-Youssef's sister, Yasmine Al-Youssef, and his aunt, Dalal, were rapes and killed during the attack, allegedly motivated by sectarian and ethnic hatred.
• Physical Assault: His nephew, Ali Al-Ahmad, was severely beaten and stabbed multiple times. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
