Winterize G23 Paragon 2020

I have a 2020 Paragon G23 with the ZZ8 engine. In the manual it states to winterize the ballast tanks. Is this necessary if you keep the tanks empty. I use the boat year round and will be filling and emptying the tanks several times a month. I plan to winterize the manifolds and heater core for the heater. Is there anything else that I need to drain for the cold days in Seattle, WA??? Does anyone have a site or video that explains the full winterization process for one of these wake boats. I have had 3 different tournament ski boats and I am very familiar with winterize this type of boat, but not the wake boats.

Backroll advice?

https://imgur.com/a/Ea0WVkF

This is a video from my second day out trying the toeside backroll. This is my closest landing. Gonna give it another go tomorrow.

Any advice? Does anyone think any of the other inverts would be worth trying?

Hello wake, can someone critique my jump?

https://imgur.com/a/77mPutf

Hello, thanks to this community and some YT vids recommended, I have improved my wakejump significantly. Can anyone further critique me? Am I getting enough pop to start spins and flips?

best bindings

I’m looking to buy some bindings for the park but would open toe ones, either laces or velcro straps be better or full boots?

Hyperlite Ranger - good or bad?

Looking at getting the ranger 4'5". Don't see a lot of reviews on it and it looks more rounded edges. Looking for more of a skim / hybrid.

We're mostly intermediate riders, 360s and chop pops.

Year 12 HSC Major Project - Wakeboard Rack

I am currently a 12th grade student who is an avid wakeboarder. For one of one of my subjects I must design and create a product that fixes a problem. As a part of designing this product we must prove that our product that we are to produce is needed. This must be done through a survey of the Target Market.

I have chosen for my project that the storage of wakeboards whilst out on the water is cumbersome and easily problematic for some.

If I could have just a few minutes of your time could the following form be filled out. https://forms.gle/oEfXWSct6t4ereHU7

I will also take any further ideas and suggestions from the comments of this post.

Shower on G23 Nautique

I just purchased a 2020 Nautique G23 Paragon with ZZ8 Supercharged engine. I want to add a shower like I have on my Malibu ski boat with hot / cold knobs / Heater craft brand. Please let me know if this is possible.

2023 FI23 new left over for sale

Complete shot in the dark here but are any sales people on here that work at a dealer or usto work at a dealer? I’ve been negotiating back and forth on a left over 2023 FI23 and was curious if anyone could help me decide on what a good price is? The boats been sitting at the dealer up the road for obviously two years, I reached out about it earlier this year and decided to pass on it and recently they reached back out trying to work a deal. I’ve found them used around 130k with less than 100 hours so I’d like to get under that.

I’m not sure what ballpark dealer invoicing is on these boats but I’d like to get into the boat as cheaply as possible lol.

Thank you!

Progress check

Yesterday I hit the rooftop and dance floor. And I learned ride switch. On Wednesday I hope to learn to Ollie. I’m just so happy I’m finally seeing progress. And can actually try tricks now.

Slingshot Space Melter any good/fun?

Is here anybody with (experians with) a Slingshot Space Melter board? I love to hear what your thoughts are about this odd shape. Is it good choice for a primary board or more a secondary fun board?

There are only a view impressions on Youtube on this board. With Google I find only webshops and on Instagram only a couple photo's / video's but no real review.

I'm a casual cable park boarder with a Hyperlite Codyak 151cm 2020 and I/m very happy with it. But I am looking for a replacement before it's to beat up. The Space melter 165cm 2023 is now on sale online from 630 euro to 380 euros and my birthday is coming(39 :-)
For this board there is no option for try-outs where I live so it's buy it and keep it.

I'm 1,95m (6 feet and 5 inch) and 95kg (209 lbs) and I like rails, boxes en slides. I take ramps but not to often and high because of my older knees.

Oahu Wakeboarding

I got inspired to post this video because I wanted other people to see that you don’t need a big ol wakeboat to have the best time of your lives with your buddies. We def are beginner wakeboarders, but behind that 17ft sea ray we felt like pros!

Could I make the 2002 Supra Launch direct drive into a decent surf boat?

I know that a V drive is more ideal for surfing, but I feel like this has enough free board that I could add the ballast needed to make a decent surf wave.

Got around the ENTIRE lake today hehe 🤭 if I can do it you can do it too lolll.

This was after embarrassing myself in front of tons of tweens, younger than tweens, old people, the staff , and (worst of all) ppl my age multiple times by falling face first barely off the dock so … idc it was SOOO worth itttt

How much gas did we just burn? I want to throw my friend some cash.

A friend just took me wakeboarding in his Supra SL 450. We were out for about 2 hours. Roughly how much would you say that cost him in gas? It was a great time and I want to make sure I take care of him. Portland, OR. I have no clue what marine fuel prices are, or how many gallons we would’ve burned.

Grassroots wakeboard competition in Colorado (recap)

A grassroots competition in 2001 is what really made me fall in love with wakeboarding, and I'm sure it was the gateway into the sport for many of you all too. Unfortunately, it seems like the grassroots scene has really fallen off over the past decade, so a group of us in Colorado decided to change that. We hosted a just-for-fun comp last month in Denver—the first one in several years (I think since pre-pandemic?). Coordinating with the WWA, sponsors, riders, etc. took some work, but it was awesome to see all of the local riders come together for a Summer finale.

We ended up with 21 riders and probably 50-100 spectators. We had 4 divisions (Youth, Amateur, Women's, and Open) and the format was 4 passes per rider (1=best grab, 2 and 3=comp pass, 4=best trick). We had prizes for podium finishers in each division, best grab/trick/crash, + a fun new tradition of the King and Queen's cup of CO wake for the overall winners that we'll bring back and engrave every year.

Recap video here

If anyone has any questions about how to organize a comp like this for your own community, I'm happy to answer them. And if you want to help out our wakeboard scene here in Colorado, please consider signing this petition to open up more lakes in the area to watersports. Be the change!

New 2025 nxt 22 or 2022 Nautique GS22 with 100h?

Hi everyone

Would you give me some advice?

I’m able to buy a 2025 Mastercraft NXT22 Brand new (configured myself) at a distributor price or a 2022 Nautique GS22 with 100 hours for more or less the same price (Nautique still a bit higher)

I want the boat mainly for wakesurf and wakeboarding, intermediate level, but for family use. Kids of 5, 7 and 8

I don’t have any other options for other brands in my area

Which one would you recommend?

Garage rack for board storage

I just built a new shop to house my boat. I am looking for creative ideas for a rack or shelves to built to store my wakeboards and wakesurf boards. I want to have an area to hang life jackets and wetsuits as well. Thanks for any ideas you can share!

2023 MasterCraft X24 vs 2023 Nautique G23

Looking at both of these models. Need help on deciding which way to go. The boat will primarily be used for a surfing with occasional wakeboarding. I like the fit and finish of the Natique but hear lots of reviews that the X24 has a more versatile surf wave. I will be purchasing the boats out of state as I am looking for a saltwater boat in Seattle and most of the boats with saltwater package or coastal models come from the South or East Coast so I will not get a chance to demo. I was leaning towards the Nautique, but don’t want to be disappointed with the surf wave not being customizable enough and being too short and steep. Willing to go the Mastercraft route if that’s the best decision or?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or recommendations based on your experience.
