r/JavierMileiSlander is looking for moderators and contributors who will help in ensuring that r/JavierMileiSlander will present the strongest case proving that Javier Milei is a net positive for Argentina, and thus a good example for the rest of the world.

The Deil's Awa Wi' Th' Exciseman

In honor of Robert Burns' birthday today, January 25, his poem about tax collectors.

The Deil's Awa Wi' Th' Exciseman

Chorus The Deil's awa, the Deil's awa, The Deil's awa wi' th' Exciseman! He's danc'd awa, he's danc'd awa, He's danc'd awa wi' th' Exciseman! 1. The Deil cam fiddlin thro' the town, And danc'd awa wi' th' Exciseman! And ilka wife cries: -'Auld Mahoun, I wish ye luck o' the prize, man! 2. ' We'll mak our maut, and we'll brew our drink, We'll laugh, sing, and rejoice, man, And monie braw thanks to the meikle black Deil, That danc'd awa wi' th' Exciseman! 3. ' There's threesome reels, there's foursome reels, There's hornpipes and strathspeys, man, But the ae best dance ere cam to the land Was The Deil's Awa wi' th' Exciseman!'

"But if the government didn't intentionally ensure that we were impoverished at a rate of AT LEAST 2% each year... what would prevent people from becoming ascetics en masse in anticipation of lower prices and investors from just stopping to seek to acquire more money to buy stuff with??????"

Even if we did the nuclear option and set an income ceiling due to which "rich people" definitely wouldn't be able ot bribe representatives, representatives would still have to take orders from their party elites. Giving the State more assets just empowers these party elites more, like in the USSR.

Only fakertarians will deny this! All anarchists must read "Confiscation and the homestead principle" or you risk becoming a fakertarian who will accidentally waste energy on defending crony capitalists.

Like, are we seriously to believe that having those goofballs stroll around in the Capitol was even close to overthrowing the U.S. government?

The closer you get to "real capitalism", the more prosperous your nation becomes (hence why China only became so after adopting market reforms). The closer you get to "real communism", the more impoverished your nation becomes. Truly makes you think. 🤔

As the Austrian economist Hans-Hermann Hoppe puts it, if you have public government (democracy), then you will have an unstoppable tendency towards the bloating of the State. As we see, even the U.S. Constitution of frequently and fraglantly violated.
