For pre-1980 or so TV shows -- but not the usual Lucy or Gunsmoke reruns. This subreddit is for the ephemeral TV programs of the pre-VCR era -- the stuff no one ever expected to see again: newscasts, local kiddie shows and horror movie hosts, live TV dramas, game shows, soap operas, teen dance parties... Oh, and kinescopes. Lots and LOTS of kinescopes.

The complete series is on sale on iTunes for $29.99 but I see it's also free on Youtube. A quick glance and the quality looks about the same (but it might not be - anyone know?). I don't see any special features on iTunes.
Any advantages to purchasing the complete set on iTunes? Any differences, does anyone know? Also, is the Youtube version legal? Is it a public domain show now or something? Rare to see complete episodes on Youtube of a show unless it's not available elsewhere or is public domain.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's any differences between the episodes on both services. Thanks.
