This is my first year at uta, but I already have my associates degree. For next semester im planning to take calc 1( if I pass the aleks exam) and BIOL 1442. What im trying to decide is that what other class to take. General chemistry 1 or Genetics. I was planning on just taking those two because this semester felt really really overwhelming even though Im only taking those two classes. Which one should I take?

I found this poor baby girl near Vintage Pads Apartments around UTA. She was friendly when I approached her, but she was not in a good physical state.

She has something wrong with her eye, overgrown nails, and rashes all over her body. She is however a good weight, leading me to believe she may have an owner that lost her.

I am keeping her for now until I figure out what to do. Also, she has no tags.

I’m looking for some advice on which professor to take for COMS 2302. I’ve got a super tough semester ahead, so I’d really appreciate any recommendations for a prof who’s an easy grader and ideally has a light workload for this course.

I’m not great at public speaking, so I’m a bit nervous about that aspect. It’d be awesome if there’s a professor who doesn’t put a lot of focus on presentations, maybe has open-book exams (studying less would be a lifesaver!), and doesn’t make attendance mandatory.

I’ve heard a few people mention Abigail Benton, and I also have the option to take Abigail Warren Dase—is she the same person? 😅 I saw some not-so-great reviews about her on Rate My Professors, and honestly, they freaked me out a bit.

UTA told me to log into mymav for submitting documents, etc. I've registered with the NetID but i cant log into my mav microsoft account with the Authenticator. THERES NO "CODE ON MY AUTHENTICATOR APP" THAT IT KEEPS TELLING ME. All other schools have a QR code thing which logs in for you. Wtf is this???HELP
