1963 $5 dollar bill Value ??
(The serial number)
From what I can find, it seems like a normal $2 bill, and $1 & $5 silver certificates that don't have much special value over face.
Helping a friend cash in her "piggy bank" and these are her only paper bills. I'd prefer to just give her their value in cash and keep these bills in my little collection instead of selling. I just don't want to short her if they have some value I didn't see. Thank you :)
Not sure how many of you are in the know about this one, but this is one of the rarest non-star Modern FRNs printed with 159,999 printed, from F 99 840 001 A to F 99 999 999 A.
I knew of a long time collector who had this on his want list for a long time and AFAIK, never got an example of it before he passed.
Has anyone actually seen one of these in any condition in the past 10 years at least? I wouldn’t be surprised if the solid 9s is still extant, but $20 back in the mid to late 1970s was a lot of money to put aside then…
I've had this for a long time. It's very crisp as I stored it away directly from the bank when I got it. Best serial number I've ever seen in person. I like that the four 7s around the bill match the four 7s in the serial. I cropped the scan a bit close. No need for you to see my dirty desk top.
Hello r/uspapermoney, I was gifted this $100 Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. I can’t find a lot of information on the web. Can anyone give me some feedback on what I exactly have.
Much appreciated.
