I probably joined this sub in 2021 shortly after I first started watching the original Urusei Yatsura. At the time, this sub had around 3k members IIRC. The number of members has more than tripled in just a few years, and a lot of it is thanks to the 2022 Remake.

(Darling shows how athletic he is by keeping up with the armored girl), (Shutaro has a nightmare that he marries the girl in a suit of armor, he's revealed to be similar to Darling, in that he wants to marry Lum-chan, Sakura-san, Ran-chan, Kurama, Oyuki-chan, Benten-chan and Ryuunosuke), (Lum-chan shocks Shutaro's personal trying to secure him down on the floor, she strikes an Ultra-man pose and gets ready to shock some more), (Darling tries to switch with Shutaro and it fails), (Lum-chan finally catches up to Darling), (Lum-chan gets ran over by Asuka's family guard detail and in the process looses her top, poor Lum-chan, bad guard detail!), (Lum-chan has recovered and is ready to shock Darling again), (Lum-chan shocks Darling while he's holding onto Asuka's armor and its destroyed as a result of Lum-chan's power)

While I work I usually have the show running in a muted picture-in-picture across two accounts (I signed up for a second one for this purpose) trying to improve the viewership metrics enough that Sentai/HiDive might consider finishing the rest of the English dub. (Ryoko makes a voodoo doll of Shutaro, she's scared of the power she has over him and entrusts the doll to Darling), (Darling inadvertently abuses and treasures the voodoo doll), (Lum-chan asks Darling what he's doing and shocks him lovingly), (Lum-chan thanks Shutaro for protecting Darling from Ryuunosuke's punch), (Shutaro saves Darling from falling off the school roof and plummets into the ground instead), (Shutaro also saves Darling from stampeding horses and bulls), (Ryoko is revealed to be the one sending the animals and torturing her brother, she also sends a stampeding elephant), (Darling learns what the voodoo doll is and enacts a vision of Shutaro's, he starts hammering it to a tree), (Lum-chan watches from the air and is shocked), (Lum-chan tells us what happens the next day, Shutaro has a voodoo doll of Darling and the two start a voodoo doll fight, Lum-chan cheers for Darling), (The episode shows Ryoko tending to crows, is she going to send them next?)

(Lum-chan, Oyuki-chan and Benten-chan appear on TV during a visit to Oniboshi, the girl trio gets furious), (The girl trio tries to sabotage Benten-chan's bike and fail), (The girl trio tries to ambush Benten-chan while shes sleeping, big mistake), (The girl trio tries to impale Oyuki-chan with a giant icicle), (Oyuki-chan freezes the trio frozen solid), (Lum-chan asks Darling what he doesn't like about her, fangs bared), (Darling says its Lum-chan's temper), (Lum-chan says its because he flirts with other girls), (Darling says she was born with the temper and challenges Lum-chan to a bet, if she can go three days without losing her temper, even when Darling flirts, Darling will go on a date with Lum-chan), (Lum-chan agrees to the proposition, but says if Darling backs out of the date, he will get three days worth of pent up electric shocks), (Darling tries to get on Lum-chan's nerves and Lum-chan tries to let it not bother her), (Lum-chan becomes frustrated and we see her bare her fangs in frustration), (The girl trio try to take Ten-chan as a hostage to get to Lum-chan, big mistake as Ten-chan burns them), (Lum-chan approaches a fence and tries to relieve her stress, did she hear something? Hello, I am new to the franchise. I noticed on: https://www.animefillerlist.com/shows/urusei-yatsura that they only mention up to episode 167 (this being manga canon, according to the list), which I found odd. Was wondering if anyone would be able to clarify the nature of the 168 and onwards episodes of the 1981 tv series for me, thank you!

Pairing - Ataru x Oyuki

I’m in the middle of plotting an ~10 chapter fic with this as a central pairing for an AO3 request, but would appreciate some inspiration (not much luck sifting through the standard AO3 tags so far). Complete works are preferred, but if anyone recommend me their own, I’ll be sure to directly cite you in the dedication.

I just watched the second OVA for the tally that I'm in the process of doing.

I noticed something and it might also be present in the original episode as well. I'll have to double check.

It looks like Imo-chan is present in the scene where it shows all of Lum-chan's friends and classmates from her class reunion party.

I suspect she's on the right side, near the purple looking dinosaur, she looks very similar with the wings and antenna.
