The apartment is located at 3737 Chestnut, a renowned luxury building near UPenn. It features a 24-hour front desk and is just a 5-minute walk to the campus, with easy access to supermarkets and nearby restaurants. The building includes a gym, rooftop garden, free coffee and printer services, as well as a lounge/study room. The total rent is approximately $38xx, and the room comes with an in-unit washer/dryer and high-quality furniture. From the high floor, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the downtown skyline, and the room includes a nearly new bed. If you are interested in the apartment plz DM me
i have my ed app ready to submit but my counselor has not completed the ed agreement yet. ik some state schools that i applied to like ut, tamu, and utd, have extended deadlines for supplemental materials, so can i submit the app before this agreemnt is filled out or do i need this agreement to be eligible to submit?
Hello For My son , I am trynjng to know if UPenn is good to apply for computer Engg ? He wants to pursue MBA after his BS and work experience.. Appreciate any inputs Thanks Kp
Im want to get a job and would like to start as a TA . Im not sur how to apply.. does someone know?
Submitted common app to Penn ED. Sent an agreement for ED but now Penn portal has another one that needs guidance signature. Since ED deadline is today, is this form which I just received post applying due today??
I'm thinking of applying to upenn RD, but how come I don't see a Physics BS major?? The only major close to physics that I see is astrophysics BA.
I applied to Penn, literally 5 minutes ago and now I regret it. I want to major in Neuroscience and I’m also interested in research, so for one of my supplements, I spoke about the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research but I’ve only just realised that it’s at the Perelman School of Medicine. I’m not sure about its relationship with undergraduate students or the the College of Arts and Sciences, so yeahhh.
Am I screwed? Will it seem like I didn’t do my research? I don’t really understand how that flew over my head. Crazy.
The early deadline is said to be Nov 1, but can recommenders still send materials after that?
Do you know someone? Either M&T, LSM, Huntsman, VIPER, etc…
Haven't seen any news/articles on it since 2021
I’m thinking of taking Orgo 2, Phys 101, Stat 111, and an HSOC class for my major. Is this too much? Any recommendations for professors?
Also, for any hsoc majors, is it a good idea to take sociological research methods while taking stat or no?
Thanks in advance :)
I need to take either PHYS 0151 or ESE 1120 next semester (spring 2025), and wanted to ask which one people would recommend. I've never taking Physics E+M before.
The options for professors next semester are Hayden Lee, Joshua Klein, Robert R. Johnson, and William Ashmanskas for PHYS 0151 and Marc Z. Miskin for ESE 1120.
Any thoughts?
Hello! I’m looking for some undergrad major recommendations that align with my interest in UI/UX design. Any advice, info, or experiences would be amazing! I’m also unsure which UPenn school would be the best fit for this path.
Is graphic design the only option? I love the creative side of UI but would like to explore the research and technical aspects of UX design too, like HCI.
What are some major + minor combinations that have helped people break into the UI/UX field?
Any advice would be so helpful. Thank you!
Does testing out of Gen Chem 1 and Gen Chem satisfy the premed requirement? Or is it required/ better to take 2 other inorganic chem courses (CHEM 2610 and 5620)?
Looking to take a humanities & social science (AUHS) class next semester for general requirements. Any easy class suggestions with minimum work?
Posting for a female freshman friend at Penn: Very frustrated with the social scene at Penn. I thought this was the "social Ivy." But the only parties that seem to be on are frat parties and these seem impossible to get into without a connection. What is a girl to do? I don't have any frat connections. Honestly thought social life here would be a lot easier.
Need advice asap, submitting application tomorrow:
I have a profile that fits both wharton and economics at Upenn. I love penn as a school in general, city, social, etc.
From a statistic perspective, Wharton is obviously harder, so I'm wondering what y'all opinion is because I can try to transfer to Wharton if I want to. I know it's hard to transfer, but it's definitely doable.
Any advice/opinion would be great
The college of arts/sciences vs school of arts and sciences? So confused
What is the best thing to order here?
casually perusing housing options and was wondering whether there are any spaces that fit the following:
i know that these are considered "luxury" features. luckily, i have a bit of room in the budget - ideally, though, i'd like for it to be comparable to on campus housing so around <1700/mo including utilities.
please share even if it doesn't 100% fit the description!
Hi, I am applying to UPenn MCIT program this year and it would be great if someone who’s in MCIT can review my SoP. It would be of great help!
Ego warning (don’t mother teresa me in the comments pls). I may be attending Penn for grad school soon, and I’m curious as to how you guys deal with people who either A) don’t know what Penn is/think it’s Penn State or B) have no clue that it’s not an Ivy/think it’s a generic “U of State”. I currently attend an Ivy which doesn’t have this problem, and I can’t imagine people thinking my school is fucking Penn State
My roommate and I both got food poisoning, anyone else experiencing this?
We always had breakfast/lunch at Hill and dinner at Lauder for the last 4-5 days. We think it's the octopus/mussel custard thing at Hill for lunch today.
Kinda sucks cuz I have a midterm tomorrow :(
The chemistry library offers free dissertations and old textbooks from like 1965. I was wondering if any other spots on campus offered free books like this? I don’t need them for a class I just like free physical books.
I've heard that CS is under the engineering faculty, and applying to this faculty requires chemistry physics, 2 courses of calc, etc.
Obviously from my school I'm not taking all of those. I'm just taking lin alg, economics and the mandatory cs and calc courses for my program.
Does this mean that upenn cs is crossed off the list and I can't apply anymore?
