I was wondering if anyone here was also accepted into the Summer Irish Studies program from May 25 - June 15? If so let me know! I’d love to meet some of you before the program starts! (I’m 21F from NY)
Hi !
I'm an international student and I'm going to be studying law at the UL next year (I'll be a 3rd year). I'd like to know which accommodation on the campus would you recommend ?
I am a prospective international student applying to study in UL.
I was Hoping Someone here knows but I don’t live on the UL campus so I don’t have free access to the gym. But I was wondering what the system is like for entry, is it a scanner or what not and if it’s possible for me to just get away with using my friends to get in.
Just thought people might be interested in this video showing the day of a UL science PhD student.
What are the parties in limerick like… Would you meet people from all around the city going to different colleges or is it mainly confined to on capmus?
I’m from Galway and plan to come to UL for college but I’m yet to find any accommodation, everywhere seems to be booked out. I don’t Know what to do, any suggestions?
Hey, I received an offer letter from Limerick for Msc in software engineering. Can someone comment on the campus life, accomodation and what are the job prospects after the completion of the course.
I received offer letters from Sheffield University and University of York too but they are much more expensive than Limerick and as a computer science engineer would it be good for me to join Limerick as I haven't read a single bad review or comment about the University and it's cost effective too for me.
Any comment or acknowledgment would really be appreciated.
Anyone able to answer a few questions from a prospective undergrad student?
Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows how the non-ensuite standard room for Troy village is (too small, window too little, cold in winter), or if there are any pics available?
Thnx
Asking for a friend - how does she go about it ? I tried to help her by reading all the info on the UL website but it doesn’t make sense to me . Has anyone been through the process ?
Hi everyone,
I am currently doing my thesis for my masters in psychology on whether religiosity is a protective factor for academic and financial stress in Irish college students aged 18-25. If you fit this criteria, I would appreciate if you'd take 5 minutes of your time to complete my online survey, link below. If you have any questions about my research, or are interested to find out the results once it's finished, feel free to DM me!

Hi!
I'm an incoming student for autumn semester 2020, I have the option to choose Irish Language 1 as a supplementary subject. I have no idea of Gaelic and no previous knowledge on "Gaeilge" modules, does anyone know if it's a good idea to take it or if other abroad students usually take the course too?
Thanks in advance!
I am a student in the US currently finishing up my bachelors degree. I am looking to apply to UL for Occupational Therapy. Has anyone applied to this program or knows anything about it? I’m not sure how difficult it is to get in, especially as an international student. I can not find anything on it besides what the website says. For anyone who has applied, what we’re your scores and grad point average?
Hello, I'm planning on entering the Electronic and Computer Engineering Dept. and I would like to know if i fill in the application form electronically and send it via the email? Or do I just print it out fill it and then send them the scanned copies? Also regarding the other documents such as passport do i send them in a singe PDF file? Or do I are send them separately?
I'm an Egyptian 12th grade student residing in Saudi Arabia and will be graduating with Saudi Arabia's general secondary certificate
UPDATE: Am I required to supply 2 references?
I'm interested in studying abroad (from the United States) at the University of limmerick. I'm interested in weekend trips to mainland Europe. What would be the best way to do this? It seems like flights are much cheaper from Dublin. Would I take a train to Dublin and then take flights from there? I'd love input!
Which place is best?
Hi, I’m applying for a masters in speech and language therapy in UL and I’m just wondering does anyone know if they actually contact the employer reference they ask for?
I ask because my employer is very unreliable and forgetful and I would like to know if I need to keep reminding him or not.
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this program and it’s acceptance rates? I’d be applying as an international student from the US. My bachelors is in social work, but my GPA was 2.98 (and I know the requirement listed on the website is 3.0). I haven’t sat for the ISAT yet, but have been studying hard and did well on the practice test. I also have been working in behavioral health with the birth to five population (and working closely with many OT providers) for the last 3 years or so.
Hey I'm going to be doing a post graduate course in UL in September and I was wondering which post grad accommodation you would recommend? On campus as well

Hello, I'm a student here at the University of Limerick for the summer. Our school gives us meal vouchers to use on campus. I currently have a lot of extra vouchers, the vouchers are worth €7.50 for lunch and €9.50 for dinner. Would anyone be interested in buying these for €5.00?
Just curious how the acceptance rate is at this university, and any words of wisdom for when I apply. Thank you in advance!
