Got a grow kit like the one in the image from wholecelium. Normally I would air it a couple times a day to make sure there's fresh air in there, but the place I'm living in right now has a mold problem and I'd rather not risk it. Do you think the tape that bag has is enough for air exchange?

First timer, growing in Ben’s Brown Rice. Felt the bags for growth about 7 days ago (10 days from inoculation) and it felt solid in the top half, and still soft in the bottom half. I checked again today, and there was almost no difference in feel from 7 days ago. Nothing in the viewing window. Any tips, or is this batch a dud?

How long will shrooms last if they are dry but not cracker dry?

It’s been s2b for 15 days I have 3 plugs in and 3 fake patches I must once a day once all the little droplets evaporate temperature is 70-74 Fahrenheit do I just need to be patient?

This yellow thing is just a myc piss or contam?

The brown spots have been there for a long time, not sure if it’s cause of shitty conditions or contam, any ideas? Probably just gonna keep it going though and hope for the best

I'm curious what air filters you guys use. Ever since switching to jars, I've never gotten contam in the grain, I know it'll happen one day though. I'm curious what air conditioning measures you guys use.

I've got a MERV 11 in the central air, and I run a small 'hepa' purifier in the place I inoculate, and it seems to work well enough for my petri ops.

What do you guys use? I've heard laminar setups are popular.

I'm on my first ever tub of Costa Ricans, I have about 6 fruits so far that are about an inch and a half tall already the rest of the pins are just forming into fruits. Is this normal? And can I just harvest the big 6 when they're ready and let the rest catch up?

I just started getting pins and this sprout up is this comes up what can I do cut this out or what?

Cakes are shrinking and have a light brownish tint on the surface (too much misting I think, I’m going to stop fussing over them. This is like day 3 after first pin.
