Every time I’ve been to the library/gateway/study rooms, I’ve had to tell people to keep their voices down. It’s actually so bad. Last week I saw a group of ppl having a whole ass Friendsgiving in a private study room with a full course meal and kpop blasting in the background. Someone asked them to turn the volume down, but nothing changed. Like ?????

I'm a student who hasn't received their Cal Grant yet. I depend on this grant to pay off my fees. I've done everything I can do on my end and have yet to receive my financial aid. I've tried contacting the financial aid office numerous times to no avail. My account has a financial hold on it and I'm worried about the upcoming fee deadline. If this deadline passes, does anyone know if they will drop my classes? Or are they extending the protection of not dropping classes for those students who don't have their financial aid? I've tried searching for this answer and nothing. I appreciate any update anyone else might have right now.

Feels like everyone else is so good at math and killing it in this class. Is it just me struggling with Math 2B? I can’t take in any of this stuff at all. And with finals coming up, I feel like I’m done for… I just hope that I can pass this class.

I’m looking at ACC housing for next year, and I saw one of the main downsides to VDC are break-ins. But most of these posts I found are very old. Is this still a problem that VDC and VDCN suffer more than other apartment areas?

Did u know that Celsius has the same pH of a lime? Me neither so make sure u drink thru a straw or constantly swish water in ur teeth between sips. I was wondering why my teeth were feeling so raw and it can be deduced to this. Only pointing this out to bc I’d hate for anyone to develop a cavity and then go to the student health center dentist to get it filled. When I went they were kinda yanking at my face and it was just a bad experience..

Also this quarter is so bad. I don’t feel confident at all in myself anymore bc I’ve had this pattern of procrastinating, unable to lock in, also just stretched thin and idk how ppl do it. I do research, 10 hour a week campus job and am enrolled in 4 classes. I also volunteer at the hospital but literally I’m failing one class and have Bs in everything else, my health is so bad as I can’t make time for the gym and I was also planning to apply into med school this cycle but honestly like I’m just an imposter. I sacrifice sleep so much to study bc of my constant lag with the quarter system and am chronically late to things and to counter that I’ve been rolling off the bed, brushing my teeth, and heading to class in my pajamas. So not only am I internally bummy I look bummy😭 and I just don’t know what makes me special anymore and what makes me deserving of anything but anyways sorry there’s probably ppl struggling to get their basic needs met so I feel ridiculous having these problems too. But from a pre med perspective it is so damn competitive nowadays and everyone around makes their lives look seamless/manageable and I feel like I’m just sinking😭 not cut out for this life but also I’m being dramatic

Basically I was late to work and my work clothes were barely drying so I had to take my car to work. Don’t have a pass and ended up parking at UTC parking lots but now i’m worried i might get a ticket or worse towed.
