Hey anyone who was a freshman last year what was the deal with that Jayden kid
I have to take 2 more 3000 level courses, but I want something that’ll be pretty easy. My other option is to continue to a 3000 level language but I don’t know if my brain could handle that. If you’ve made it to a 3000 level language I’d love some advice or just 3000 class suggestions!
Let's look back at some memorable moments and interesting insights from last year.

Has anyone ever called about a parking ticket and got it removed? I just got one tonight because of the basketball game, I don’t keep track with the games so the emails notifying me somewhat help. I had a 8 am class today and had other classes before and got the email at 2 while my last class started. I didn’t see the email at all. I had a review session today at 6 so I had to stay on campus all day and got back to my car at 7:30 when I see a ticket for $100! Really panicking because that’s a lot of money for me, I pay for my own tuition.
I just got accepted and confirmed my intent to enroll. I have years of full-time work experience and for the price and quality, I thought UArk would be a solid choice through which to finally finish my degree. I'm wondering if current or past students in this program can talk about their experiences - was the material interesting? Do you feel like it gave you a boost in your career?
Thanks!
So I'm going to be transferring here next year to major in food science. I'm currently at Missouri state and working towards finishing all non-food science classes with the course equivalency guide. My first question is this : are classes within a major usually on the same days like MWF or around the same time? I'm looking to get a full schedule of food science courses for 3 semesters to finish my degree. Also, regarding a quote from the website-"course equivalncies can change and are updated nightly"- I'm curious how often this actually sets someone back.
I’m one of the 2 people going to Uark at my high school and the other person is a girl. I’m having a hard time trying to find a roommate. On the housing portal you can join/add a group and I don’t wanna just join a random group because I feel like this is pretty weird. Should I just let the university match me with someone randomly? No one will respond to a message on the portal lol
My son is transferring from College Station in the fall. Right now, he has a 4 bdr/2 bath apartment that is very reasonable ($400 m). He would like an apartment again but everything I've found is a lot more expensive.
Does anyone have recommendations on apartments? Hes open to a dorm but would prefer suite style. Were coming up in late February so I'm just trying ro get our ducks in a row.
Selling inquiry to life 15th edition for 30$ (no marks, stains or anything, completely new without code), it is required for lab and you will need it to learn for test, originally 120$ I live 5 minutes from campus
You probably don't know it, but there's a very conceited group affiliated with the University who calls itself the "Palladian Order of Skull and Bones." There are lots of rumors surrounding this group, but they like to think of themselves as an elite university fraternity predestined for greatness and superiority in Arkansas politics and society.
If you search them, you can find out more about them, but the fun part is this:
They recruit members at 7:30pm on the first Thursday in October (This October 4th.) They tell prospective members to meet on the steps of old main in a suit, with a receipt showing that they have donated at least $100 to the University Alumni Association.
I'm sure the more creative of you, who are opposed to these types of hierarchical, conceited, male dominated structures, can find a fun way to deal with this.
I'll post some links giving more info:
http://yournamesecretsocieties.iwarp.com/ (this is more apologetic and sympathizes with the group)
http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread3799/pg1 (this is a little more conspiracy based, but I think more accurate)

Have Fun!
Hey! I'm looking into starting a project at a variety of schools, including University of Arkansas, and would love your help answering this quick survey about the food scene here.
Survey is here - it should only take 3 minutes to fill out and you'll get entered to win a $100 amazon gift card.
Thanks in advance!!
Can anybody enrolled in University of Arkansas offer me insight in the software engineering and chemical engineering programs? I am mostly concerned with resource qualities such as TA's and lectures. Also are there any grade "deflation" courses I should be aware of?
I am transferring from North Dakota in the fall will be a JR. Am wondering what the nicest dorms are on campus or just any advice in general. Will b win journalism program if that matters.
Hi, I'm going to be a freshman for the 2018-2019 year, and I'm wondering what some of the best/worst dorms are? thanks
