In the old days before computers, when people would go through a tax audit they would sometimes leave small error or intentional disallowance to satisfy the auditor that they'd found something so the rest of it would avoid deeper scrutiny?
Because it would be an astute move and I think the Trump campaign is getting much more shrewd in dealing with the media. They understand that comedy, while triggering for leftist ideologues, is not something you can object to without looking like a sanctimonious imbecile most of the time? Some humour is a little mean but it's funny and I think people are at the point where they don't care and want to laugh again... especially if it's something that provokes woke idiots.
