I was wondering if it would be worth applying to the program with these grades. Preparing the documents, getting the LORs, and paying the 75-euro application fee will take some effort. My Bachelor's grade is 1.8, but my mathematics grades average approximately 1.4.

They mentioned they prepare a rank list with 40% weightage to the overall grade, a separate 20% to the mathematics grades, 30% to soft factors like letter of motivation and 10% to English scores (I have an IELTS with an overall 8 - Listening 9, Reading 8, Speaking 7.5, Writing 7.5). Do I have a decent shot?

ich ziehe in Erwägung den oben genannten Master zu machen. Hat hier jemand Erfahrungen gemacht, die er oder sie eventuell teilen möchte?

Mich würde vor allem interessieren, wie gut der Studiengang mit einer Tätigkeit nebenher vereinbar ist. Schafft man es, mit 1-2 Tagen vor Ort, gut durchzukommen? Ich habe absolut nicht den Anspruch, in Regelzeit fertig zu werden, sondern eher 2-3 Module pro Semester zu absolvieren, kann aber wegen meiner Beschäftigung nicht ständig vor Ort sein.

In diesem Zusammenhang würde mich ebenfalls interessieren, ob die Materialien online zur Verfügung gestellt ewrden und ob es in jedem Modul verpflichtende wöchentliche Abgaben gibt.

Vielleicht ist ja hier jemand, der mir weiterhelfen kann, ich freue mich auf Eure Antworten!

Hi there, I am a international student and currently living in Germany for 5 years. I graduated from Gymnasium in Germany and enrolled at TU Berlin with an Abitur. My first enrollment was in the Winter '23 semester, and after that I had a lot of personal issues going on at the same time that caused me to become very mentally unstable, and I ended up enrolling for three semesters in a row and failing all of my courses. I'm technically in my third semester now, but I've already missed almost everything, so I won't be able to pass this semester either.

However, after many attempts over the past year, my mental state has improved a lot, and I am now at a point where I can live a normal life without any problems, so I will start the next summer semester with a fresh mind.

The problem is, as I recall, three failed course attempts can make it impossible to register for the next semester. I've tried to find out more about this, but I still don't know where on TU Berlin's website I can find detailed information about it, and my emails to the relevant departments have gone unanswered for days.

The bottom line is, after 3 failed attempts, will I still be able to apply for my next semester?

Ich studiere Physik und dachte mir mal bevor ich für jede Prüfung einzeln lerne, lerne ich direkt für ein paar Prüfungen so habe ich etwas mehr Stress einmal dafür aber in Summe weniger, da manche Fächer sich vom Stoff etwas überschneiden, bzw. teilweise vlt Stoff aus dem vorherigen Jahr mit abgefragt wird. Bzw. gekonnt werden muss.
