CLEAN UP COMPLETED. ENJOY! and Happy New Year.
The links are done. I encourage folks to add their own links and comments.
Enjoy. Thank you for watching with me.
Happy holidays for all who celebrate - Hanukkah, Kwanza, Yule, Christmas, Festivus...
Sorry folks. I'm trying to write this on my phone, and it's maddening. I will get my laptop going by tomorrow or borrow one.
Thanks.
Enjoy. If anyone would like to add their own. Please feel free.
Links are up. Good night everyone. I hope you enjoyed the watch.
I'm happy to do so, but if people aren't interested, I feel a bit foolish. Next is tomorrow night.
Thanks!
Enjoy.
Ummm, sorry folks, I got a 6 day ban for messing with some conservative groups.
I just got back in.
What episode should we watch tonight, since we are now two behind? Shall I assume you saw them?
Let me know. If I don't hear, I'll go where we left off.
Thanks! .
Edit: decided on 6 and 7.
I can’t stop crying. Maybe it’s just my hormones but I’m so affected by Albert’s death. Seeing his Big Chief photo at the reopened GiGis had me in a puddle of tears. I’ll start rewatching again tomorrow I’m sure.
Does she seriously not understand that she signed a contract with Tim that includes the use of her name? He literally told her before she left that he now owned that name. Not saying it's right but it shouldn't have been a surprise.
Is this a real song and can anyone tell me what it's called or who it's by?
Edit: lol I meant Batiste, not Bunk
i think it’d be so cool to do a watch party of treme at a bar in treme. if someone could get that going i would never miss one. even a bacchanal!! idk i just would love to watch treme in a bar in nola.
I’m from New Orleans and escaped Katrina when I was 4 so this show is more personal than it otherwise would be. I’ve been watching all of David Simon’s works and so far have watched The Wire, The Corner, The Deuce, and We Own This City plus will get to Generation Kill, Show Me A Hero, and The Plot Against America. The plot with LaDonna’s deceased brother was already very depressing but to suddenly see Creighton die was both heartbreaking and not expected. I could tell he was depressed but never thought he would take his own life. Only on Season 1 Episode 10 but so much happened already. Sad thing is the city, almost 20 years later, still is struggling hard with housing costs, insurance, jobs, and constant hurricane damage which is why as much as I want to go back, there are so many risks.
Episode 7 Smoke My Peace Pipe
Episode 8 All on a Mardi Gras Day
Sorry . I'm not making it. It doesn't look like anyone else is posting the Watch Party tonight, so I will post tomorrow.
Thanks folks!
