I know we are supposed to have an up-close non zoomed in photo of the leaves of the tree, but I simply can't as their are no fallen branches or leaves and the lowest branch is about 15 feet. Believe me I tried climbing it then making a pathway out of fallen tree trunks discovered a snake twice almost got bit and ran. Then I gave up on the dream. Anyways any help identifying it would be great!
Photo taken this weekend (April 27) in Plumstead Township (Bucks County, PA). Is this a serviceberry tree? Not quite sure.
I love this subreddit! But suppose I wanted to learn more about identifying trees outside of Reddit. Does anyone have a good tree identification book? Preferably something aesthetically pleasing so it can chill on the coffee table.
