Alice, she/they

Hey all, I'm an AFAB enby and go by she/they/it (although "it" can only be used by people I'm close to), but I am considering whether I would prefer only they/them. i can't decide whether that "she" is for others or myself or both or what.

So if I could try out they/them here, that'd be very helpful. If you could write it like someone is talking about me (positively!) to someone else that might be the best way to see how comfortable I am with it. Thank you!!

Trying something out.

Hi everyone. Im on a throwaway account. Questioning my identity here... Currently he/him. Talking to a friend about all of this and she wrote a message about us meeting up using she/her for me and it felt good. So wanting to try some things out. I don't have any name ideas. Please could you write things about me, your friend, using she/her? I like cats, video games and Warhammer.

Margot (she/her)

Hello everyone, I'm still not quite sure if I am a trans girl or not. If you could help me try the name Margot and she/her pronouns out to make me decide whether I feel comfortable with being adressed as a girl, I'd very much appreciate it <3

Julia - Non masculine pronouns

Hiya, my name is Julia. I'm non-binary (still figuring things out..) and just kinda trying to distance myself from masculinity. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with she/her just yet. So at least for now I think I prefer they/them. Would appreciate it if you could try both.

Genderneutral name with nickname

Hi! I am searching for a gender neutral name than can have a nickname. Generally this means that the actual name needs to be a bit longer so it can be shortened. I tried thinking about a name for quite some time, but I haven’t seem to find one that I really like and that fits.

I would really be grateful if you know such names and if you can help me.

For a little insight of what names I was thinking about so far:

  • nico (i really like this name, but i dont like nicholas or nicole and if i try to find a nickname for nico all that comes in my mind is coco and idk if i like it)
  • alex (with the nickname lexi, and i dont like alex as a nickname because i dont like alexander or alexandra)
  • charlie (with the nickname char, but i am not sure if it suits me? i havent really tried this name out)
  • ezran (with the nickname ez or raze)
  • oliver (with the nickname ollie, but idk what to say about this one, it seems a bit to masc)

If you have any suggestions, please let me kow! Thx!

Name help please :/

Sooooo... I'm kind of on, like, the fifth month of just not having a name. I kind of hate it. But I also hate every single name I've tried out and being called by any of them sends rage through me. Idk how to find/know when I find the right one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Started calling myself Korbin in my head because I like crows and it means crow, but idk if it's too edgy? I have a sort of forest-grunge vibe to me. Like, beige, brown, greens, cat hats, satchel bags, baggy clothes, nature-y jewelry, that sort of thing. I'd prefer a unisex name, if anyone has any suggestions :)

Gender Affirmation 🙏

Please could some people praise me or compliment me. I am a trans girl, I use she/her pronouns, and my current preferred name is Aurora! Some examples of phrases addressing me with my preferred name and pronouns would also be very welcome :))

Scott - he/they

I would prefer if it was done in a way that you're talking to me directly and using masculine compliments and stuff. It really helps me visualise better 😭 but it's not needed! Anythings appreciated <3

Feminine name suggestions beginning with E

I am planning on coming out to my uni flatmates soon and would like to have a name that they can call me. My current name begins with E and I've gotten used to my initials over the year and don't want to change them, any ideas are welcome!

Are - they/them

Hey folks! I came out to my friends a while ago and recently I started going by Are. I am still not out at work though. Could you refer to me by my name and pronouns like we're co-workers? (I work at a university). Thanks a lot 💜

Liam - They/he

Pretty much what it says on the tin.

I’m transmasculine nonbinary. Years ago, I had a TTRPG character named Liam; it’s a name I’ve always liked and my birth name also starts with L, so it just felt sorta natural to go for it, and it stuck. Ever since then, I’ve been giving that name to my artist ‘sona and pretty much all of my video game avatars. Now, I wanna try it out IRL.

Grey - can I try both he/him and they/them?

I've been using Grey online and for drive-thrus, but haven't had people refer to me this way because I'm not really out. I've not had any experience being referred to as pronouns other than she/her. I live in the US South, so everyday is a flood of ma'ams no matter what I look like.

Jamoz, non-he pronouns

Hey, this is my first time here. I’m AMAB. I’m not really comfortable sharing my name online so I’ll go by Jamoz which is my online name.

I’ve been questioning gender and pronouns lately. I was called “they” at my GSA once and it felt new and exciting, so I started going by he/they to test the grounds (just online.) But I’m not sure if I actually like being called they from the one experience. Maybe I’m they/them, he/they, maybe I’ll go back to he/him after all, or maybe even something else. I don’t know, just a bit confused. I’m probably somewhere between agender, enby and male, but I’m kinda going as unofficially enby to myself right now to see how things feel.

Anything that isn’t male and he/him would be great, since I already know how those feel. I don’t necessarily feel uncomfortable with being called a guy and he/him, and I love my name even though it’s pretty gendered. But I do understand just because I feel comfortable with one thing doesn’t mean I couldn’t prefer another.

A few things to go off of:

I like too many subjects. Anything history/geography/culture is my favorite stuff, but I also love vexiology (flags), chemistry, coding, math (algebra), music theory and band (Learning piano), music in general (LOVE Daft Punk and other Electronic stuff), I’m probably forgetting some there too.

I’m 15, sophomore year in highschool.

I’m pretty extroverted, love meeting new people as long as my social battery isn’t already depleted.

Never had a relationship or even got close.

I’m quite the bi stereotype. Bad posture, lemon bars, indecisive, all of the classics.

Sorry if I gave a bit too much info here since most posts I see are pretty small, but I guess I wanted to be as helpful as possible. Not sure if this will give me any insight since it’s not a real-life interaction, but I thought I would give it a shot.

Thank you so much!!
