Is there a backstory/origin on Optimus prime and megatron’s relationship in bayverse?
I read something like they both followed sentinel prime but megatron got jealous that optimus was a prime(or whatever)but i’m not sure about this
I have no idea where it came from but it's a cool design. I hope nothing bad comes from this though. Anybody have any idea?
I was hearing it in Rise of the Beasts and wanted to deny it, but after watching Invincible, it’s unmistakable. Peter Cullen’s voice is getting weaker and weaker, and it can’t be healthy for him to keep doing the Optimus Prime voice. Listen to him in Prime, then TLK, then Bumblebee, then RotB. The deterioration in his vocal strength is apparent beyond normal aging.
In Invincible he’s obviously still got it, but he sounds like he needs to force every line out. He gives the energy of a guy constantly out of breath and in need of lying down. I think the reason his lines sound so choppy in parts of RotB (I can-not be-lieve it) is because different takes are being spliced together.
His line delivery is still perfect in sections (I’m gonna take back Scourge’s key, and then, take off his head), but I still believe he needs to retire. At least as Optimus Prime.
There have been many “Megatron was Right” posts in the past, and while I more or less agree with that I’m not going to go into details about why. It’s often said that he had good intentions but poor execution which is also mostly agreeable to me. What I want to discuss though is why we shouldn’t judge him for not caring about the lives of humans…
In the eyes of Megatron, whether correct or not, humans are simply a lower form of life to him and all other transformers. They are short lived beings that have never approached the level of advancement as on Cybertron. To him while humans may be intelligent they are not valued enough to worry about their sacrifice to his cause. I’m suggesting that we look at his ideas from his perspective and briefly abandon a human-centric view of his morality. And I ask this in order to deepen his character and shed light on his ideas and the potential validity of them. I once watched a show, either Sci-fi or apocalypse themed though I can’t remember its name, in which insulin could be harvested from the pancreases of dogs in order that diabetics could survive. While dogs show a level of intelligence and it would certainly be said to us, very few would have issues in a SHTF scenario about using them in order to survive. And if every individual in the world was diabetic dogs may even become extinct due to this, though it would be in that society’s best interest for that not to happen. To me, Megatron feels the same about humans. They are lesser beings and if they must be sacrificed in order to bring back Cybertron then it must be done, and there is no reason to have remorse over it.
I think taking this understanding of his motivations adds depth to his character, instead of viewing him simply as a force of evil. I usually dislike cartoonishly evil characters in media and prefer more nuanced approaches to bad guys. I like to think that evil characters believe themselves to be justified, and by putting yourself in their shoes for a moment you may better understand them.
So Evangelion is turning 30 next year so there probably gonna make a new Eva prime figure and I’m wondering what mold will the use?

I just uploaded Beast Wars with dual audio (Latinamerican Spanish - English) in 4K resolution (Originally AI's Replay) with English subtitles (Couldn't find the subtitles for a few episodes so used YT auto-generated and fixed them)
Had to manually add the Latinamerican dub to each episode but it was worth it!
Obviously he's the reigning champion of Transformers and I found a guy selling him for $140. Seems cheap to me but just out of curiosity, what's the most you guys would be willing to pay for the legend?
How does SS Megatron scale with the Yolopark ROTB line? Is he shorter than them? Specifically Prime's kit.
