Here's a thread to share your short weekly rides. From your grocery getting tour to your casual roll to a local park. The stuff that might not be worth a full post, but certainly involved some tire time.
Just a friendly reminder that touring bikes are meant to last forever... If we keep them up.
When was your last oil change? Clean your chain recently? When was your last spline lube, for the shaft drives? Gear oil, for you dry clutch guys? Checked your brake pads recently? Condition of your brake fluid? How much play is in your clutch line? Check the wear bar on your tires recently? Pressure?

If you're looking for a riding buddy, or maybe you're looking to meet up with someone you "know" at a rally, or you're just looking for a special someone to trade ~~dick~~ bike pics with, here's the thread.
Just, for safety's sake, let's keep our first meetings in public places and follow basic steps like making sure someone knows where you're going. Most of you guys are normal, but some of us are kinda creeps.

What's up yall,
I've been riding for about a year now, on an MT-09SP. Over time i've been learning the kind of rider I am, and I find myself wanting to go for longer, slower paced cruises for a few hours at a time to take in some nice views. My bike is not only very uncomfortable for such long rides, but I never even find myself using its power without going way too fast for my kind of riding.
I've been looking to get a new, more touring capable bike, but I'm not sure if true tourers (GoldWing, etc.) are for me. I've had some friends tell me about Adventure bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom and other riders tell me about bikes like the Indian Super Chief, and other cruisers.
TLDR; What kinds of bikes would you recommend for comfortable multi-hour/full day riding, without going all the way for something like a Gold Wing.
Thanks brothers!!!!

1987 Suzuki Calvacade, ran well previously — older owner, upper-middle class, got frustrated trying to rebuild those quad carbs, and just wants it out of his garage.
I’ve got tools, garage, and have rehabbed about 6 old CB w quad carbs. This seems like a decent price.
But, there are a lot of old CBs, around, this might be more challenging (although he already bought the carb kits).

Plan to step away. The sub has potential, and breathing a little life was easy when I first tried. But, I have less desire to put in the effort than I anticipated. Shame to let it die completely, though (even as spez puts in the effort to kill reddit).

I just got the full suspension upgrade on my 2013 F6B from Traxxion dynamics. What a difference! Its like a new bike. Smooths out the ride and just sets it into those sweepers......a blast to ride.
