Do not make repetitive posts each day; For example Day 1: "[FS] Harbor Freight Anvil", Day 2: "[FS] Harbor Freight Anvil". Use the reply or edit options on your original post to update prices or what is available.

We do not allow posts that redirect users to another website; please make a brand new post specifically for Reddit.
While we welcome giveaways (part of this sub is to allow people to pay it forward to other craftsmen), we would ask that you do not host giveaways, raffles, etc... that require someone to like or share a social media page.
Please be kind and courteous to others, any foul behavior will be handled accordingly.
Posts about store discounts, sales, coupons, or general announcements are not allowed. Please direct such posts to a more directly related subreddit.
Always use Google Wallet, PayPal, Venmo, etc... for shipped items. We ask that you use these services because they offer some measure of protection to both parties. To that end, please DO NOT use the "friends and family" option through these services, as they DO NOT include buyer protection. If you are making a local pickup, feel free to work out whether cash or one of these other methods works best for all parties. Take caution when meeting ANY individual, such as meeting in a police organized meeting spot, crowded parking lot, etc..
Please leave feedback in this feedback thread once you complete your deal.

Looking for IDL Tool's Viper Grips locking pliers, specifically the 6-inch VG6000BK variant as pictured. I will pay up to $150 for this specific model, including used, as long as they are still functional.
I have a Milwaukee M18 Miter Saw tool only for sale. No battery or charger. Everything else though.
Hi all, I've got a goofy project (a modular keytar) going on that will run on 18v DC and settled on using Ryobi batteries (plentiful around here) as the source. Now I find myself at a bit of a loss, as I would like a tidy, ergonomic way to hot-swap them, but the 3D printed solutions out there kinda stink.
I'm hoping someone has a dead Ryobi drill or flashlight--something with a narrow grip leading to the battery socket-- out there in their parts bin that they wouldn't mind parting with. It's be cut up so that the grip assembly serves as a battery dock. I'll gladly cover shipping costs--I think with the Chuck pulled off itd fit in a USPS Medium Flat Rate padded envelope.
I'm also happy to receive any tips on how you might approach this differently.
I know this is a weird one, but I thought I'd reach out.
Thanks for reading!
Does anyone use this sub?
I'm looking for a few of the harder to find Craftsman sockets to complete some sets I've had since I was a kid. Over the years I've lost or damaged a few and have been rebuilding for the past few years. I've scoured local pawn shops, eBay, etc and these are the ones I'm still on the look out for.
I don't care what series, but would like good functional condition. My only requirements are that it have the Made In USA stamp. I'm willing to pay a fair price and shipping. If you've got some of these specific sockets that you have no use for, please reach out and let's figure something out! Individual sockets usually range in price from about $5-10/each from what I've seen.
Here's what I need:
3/8'' drive 6 point shallow: 1''
3/8'' drive 6 point deep: 1/4'', 5/16'', 15/16'', 1''
3/8'' drive 12 point shallow: 15/16'', 1''
3/8'' drive 12 point deep: 1/4'', 5/16'', 15/16'', 1''
I've got a few duplicate sockets I would be willing to trade/sell (all Craftsman USA). Reach out if you're looking for something similar and I can see if it's something I have. I'm happy to snap a picture to show condition. I have some that are well used and some that are brand new with hang tags still attached.
I would also be interested in finding a full set of 1/2'' drive deep sockets (again Craftsman USA). 12 or 6 point. A complete set of 14 (3/8'' - 1-1/4'') in decent shape.
The Craftman's Tool Exchange (r/tooltrades) is a new community! There may not be much here now, but don't let that deter you from joining! By joining, you'll help found this community and start building a functioning and helpful subreddit. This sub is working hard to be advertised on other related subs, as the bigger it gets, the more benefit there will be for everyone. Hopefully next time you stop by, there will be many more users, and maybe some posts about tools you're looking for!
Please try to comment and leave feedback after every transaction on r/tooltrades, whether negative or positive, so that the community has a resource to help identify quality sellers and buyers. If you have had a negative experience, please contact the moderators.
At some point, community flairs will be added based on a user's feedback to mark well established buyers and sellers.
