I brought them on Halloween night. They said they are going to send the tickets in the mail to my address. If they don't arrive in time they're going to send it to my hotel.

I love king crimson and I started listening to tool after king crimson, just by listening to Adam jones I realized how much he was influenced by Robert fripp, I’m just wondering if anyone here even knows who king crimson is.

I’m curious what my fellow tool lovers like to read. I’m rereading Siddartha for like the dozenth (is that a word?) time. I finally took the time to read the short biography of Herman Hesse and it really emphasized his distrust of authority. This obviously got me thinking about Tool - and Siddartha has tons more parallels to some of Tool’s works: Jungian Pyschology, journey into and through the self, plagues of the material world.

My other favorite book is Flowers For Algernon, which, due to being heavily inspired by Plato’s Analogy of the Cave, has lots of similarity to Rosetta Stoned. Both deal with coming out of the “darkness” (ignorance), being thrust into the “light” (understanding) and then being unable to comprehend/recount what just happened when you settle back into the real world.

I’d love to know what y’all are reading whether it be novels, nonfiction, short stories, whatever!? And it doesn’t have to have as obvious tool parallels like the two I mentioned; I just figured this sub might have some people with similar taste and good recommendations.
