I am planning a short weekend trip to Togo toward the end of next month. I followed all of the steps to apply for the tourist visa and applied last week. I just logged in to my account to check its status and saw that the request was approved. However, I now realize that there is a mistake in the issued visa. The visa's validity is exactly one month after my intended travel dates!

It appears I made a mistake, though I was certain I was careful with the application. I was chatting with someone on 'Voyage Togo' website about modifying the visa, and they said my only recourse is to apply for another visa for my preferred time period and pay the application fee again.

Has this happened to anyone? I am nearly resigned to reapplying for the visa at this point, but figured I would check here for more information first.

I’ll be in Togo for three weeks in total, and I’d like your recommendation on how much money I should budget per day. I’ve seen estimates ranging from $100 to $500 per day, but I’m unsure if those amounts include accommodations. I plan to buy clothing, drinks, and accessories, though not every day. I’m traveling to Togo in a few months and am looking for authentic Togolese as well as neighboring local cuisines - Ivorian, Burkina, Malian food available in these cities. (I will be going to Ghana and Benin as well).

I am from India and am very used to the craziness and handling bustling markets. Also love eating with hands on the street - no issues. Being from India I always stick to the hot food prepared fresh and bottled water rule anywhere.
