Togolese nationality

Hey Guys!

Im a university student, working on a paper on nationality laws and their application, with respect to African countries in particular. My research delves deep into provisions on the basis of which one might lose their nationality. My question to anyone who could answer, is whether there are statistics based on how many people were deprived of their Togolese nationality from 2000-2024?

The Voodoo of Lomé

Hello everyone.
Togo and Bening are the birthplace of Voodoo. I'm going to visit Lomé next week. The Lomé Fetish Market is said to be kept just for the tourists and allegedly doesen't have to do anything with the local people anymore.
What would you recommend to see in Lomé in order to explore the culture of Voodoo?
Do you have any other great tips for things to see in Lomé?

Thank you and best regards

Togo Sofa Cushion from 1973 vs 20th century

Wondering how these cushions hold up after 40-50 years? Is the foam inside different from this century/ now? Deterioration? Liquid/moisture absorption? Or do foam didn’t really change?

Hello, I started this micronation in the United States called Emlynia, and I’m trying to get at least a majority (even if it’s 1 person) vote from every country to recognize us, you don’t have to recognize us, you have an option. This isn’t forced recognition. Here’s the progress we’ve made so far.

📍 Lome, Togo 🇹🇬

As you may know, Lome is the capital and largest city of Togo, a small West African country. It is a vibrant and bustling place, full of culture, history, and diversity. One of the best ways to experience Lome is to visit its markets, where you can find everything from clothes to food to souvenirs. The most famous market in Lome is Asigame. In this market you’ll find all these wealthy traders. Check this link to watch the journey:

Is "Matarr" (or a soundalike variant of a different spelling) a word in any of your country's languages? And why did I dream of a Matarr being used in a ritual in some humble African village?

I dreamed in the early 2000s that I visited a humble African village in an unknown country where black tribespeople were dressed in traditional clothing and put "matarr" somewhere on their bodies for some kind of ritual.

If Matarr is a word in any of your country's languages, what does it mean in English and how is it used?

If Matarr is an item used in any of your rituals, what more can you tell me about that ritual and why does the Matarr need to be used in it?
