I recently changed my yoyo to an unresponsive yoyo bearing, but every time I pull it comes back up...

Why is this happening?

Recess Tropic Alien came in yesterday! Made me want to play all day and finally get this combo down.

Still pretty new at yoyoing (effectively been practicing for a few months) but I’m starting to get a feel for flow and style. I just watched a lot of videos and locked in on the parts I thought looked cool. Doing something like this felt impossible a few weeks ago. Now I don’t have to think much about these elements and am just working on hitting them consistently each time. Flying into that green triangle at the end sucks but it feels so good when I get it.

I started yoyoing in third grade. Did it religiously until about 14 and then just causally have done it ever since. I’m 26 now. And I have realized my love for it has never wavered but I want to get back into it more seriously. When I was a kid, I followed the yoyoexpert trick list. Based off that list, I’m in the advanced part 1 section. Should I resume there? Is that the same list every one follows, still? Or, like everything else, has things drastically changed?

Also, I throw a dv888 and have only thrown that since 2007. Should I stick with that one or upgrade?

So as we're officially in the winter I was curious about how temperature might affect the integrity of yoyos. In my house it gets extremely cold at the night, but gets extremely warm during the day when I've got the heating on. I know things soften, or expand or contract depending on the heat and the cold, is this something you should take into consideration? Can the fluctuation in temperature affect the integrity of yoyos? Or am I over thinking and asking a dumb question?

I thinking about getting a new Yoyo Formula D1 from ToyBania, is this a good choice as I never had one professional yoyo and just been using a regular 100 rupees yoyo. My range is 1500 rupees. If you have any other Yoyo suggestion please tell me.( I live in India )

How can I make my house the ultimate YoYo Dojo Casa House for my husband? This is what he says he wants. I still am barely getting used to doing the DNA for him in a very dangerous way. What more can I do??? I am trying to make our love interest by always involving the yoyo.. the yoyo is fun, but I do not want to hurt him and be rejected. Does anyone else feel afraid with the yo yo? How much mor can I do to make it the yo yo house??? I bought him a special shelf for the yoyo. Why can’t we just walk dog????

My nephew asked for a yo-yo for Christmas this year . He’s the best little kid ever and I’m so proud of him so I wanna really knock this gift out of the park. A little bit about my nephew, he’s 12 years old. He is on the spectrum. He absolutely loves baseball, the color blue, and sharks . I’d like to keep it under $100 bucks but hell if something’s cool enough and within reason I’ll get it for him. As far as I know I don’t think he’s ever even picked up a yo-yo in his life, so something beginner friendly please ! Thank you so much happy holidays !
