Sometime in the last 10 years or so I heard a song on Soundcloud that was my favorite Biggie song I've ever heard. The vibe was the dopest thing I'd heard in years. It was kind of like a One More Chance/The What vibe, it was slow and I think it had the word Girl in the title but it wasn't "Nasty Girl" or "I Need a Girl". It was a song I'd never heard before and I don't think is on any of his albums. It kind of had an electronic vibe too like Alina Baraz. It was only up for a year or so and then it was taken down and I've never been able to find it again.
My other obscure search is for an album that I think would be considered a mashup but it was a jazz/blues reinterpretation of biggie hits that had biggies voice but it was over a jazz layer and the whole album was dope as hell.
Please help!
This dream seem like it was real. I had a dream that I was on the plane. Idk where I was heading. I believe I was in first class. Don’t ask me how I got there lol. I walking in the aisle and I seen a dark skin heavyset dude with dark shades, a red leather coat, timberlands and a cane. I walked up to him and I was like nah that can’t be him. I walked up to him real nervous and I said “Excuse me Big. My name is Omar and I’ve always been one of your biggest fans growing up and you influenced as an artist”. He told thank you and we chopped it up. He was real cool and humble. I told him that in 97, I was 10 going on 11 when Life After Death came out (I was born in 86) and I told him I was from Texas. Now mind you, this dream didn’t take place in 1997. This took place this year in 2021. It was almost like he faked his death or something. I really felt his presence. It was a crazy feeling. I remember waking up for work at 5am. When I got myself together and before I walked out the door, I look at my Biggie paint canvas on my wall. It was the picture of him doing a Alfred Hitchcock picture with the wood stick in his mouth with the crow standing on it. I looked at it for a minute. It was real weird. I thought about it all day at work. Idk what this mean. What are ya’ll opinion on this?
