Who do you feel should be the next former player to be added?
I'm going with Chad Marshall.
Also, does anyone know what the actual criteria is to be selected., but i am curious what thise requirements are.
I think the Fan Council and the Nordecke Board should be pushing to have some selected next season and maybe every other season.
sigh
Who to hate on next?
As much as it stinks to get knocked out first round. The top 3 getting eliminated eases the pain.
Thanks for making me feel a little better today :)
I cannot FUCKING BELIEVE we are out of the playoffs.
That is all. Have a great weekend.
This one's for all the lurkers
Hi all! I'm looking for a way for my husband to be able to play soccer this winter and was told this sub has pickup games, but I couldn't find any posts about it. Can anyone tell me more?
Can someone explain why this U22 salary cap (or whatever it is) means that we'll lose Matan? I love watching that little dude. I always look for the really fast guy in the short socks.
Talk about anything and everything with fellow crew fans!
I bought a playoff ticket strip in section 234. I paid over $225 and it included tickets for four games. Obviously we’re not playing any more games, so will I be refunded or how does this work? Thanks!
Just had a conversation with my gf, who is not a sports person and became interested in the Crew during last year’s Cup run. She walked into the kitchen and started examining our schedule fridge magnet.
After looking at it for a few moments, she said, “So does the Crew losing last night mean they won’t be playing for a while?”
“Yes,” I responded, “They won’t play again until March, when the next season starts.”
“What??” my girlfriend said, shock and disappointment filling her eyes. “That’s terrible. I’m going to be so bored!”
Made me realize that she is one of the truest fans a club can have. Win or lose, she loves this team, and can’t wait for the opportunity to see them play again.
Glory to Columbus. 💛 🖤 💛
Cucho, Rossi and Schulte all have had rumors swirling about leaving. Nagbe is getting old. Camacho has been awful for months now. Doesn’t seem replacing Morris is gonna go well. And who knows how long Nancy stays.
A lot of potential volatility out there but without Bez I don’t quite trust the front office like i did 6 months ago.
So what happens now that there are no more games, if I paid ahead will they refund?
Do I think this is exactly how it’ll play out? Not at all but why not play armchair GM to cope
Departures
Then buy down Nagbe and find an aggressive CM to pair with him. I love Sean but we need one of our midfielders to push more. This solves an issue with CB depth too and lets Sean provide coverage there. Looking at the free agents list, Rusnak from Seattle would be a fun option if we wanted to throw another DP at the attack.
Keeps the core intact but lets us add some fresh energy and ideas. I haven’t paid enough attention to Crew II this year, but Nancy being Nancy he’ll probably look there first for any depth and development.
I know that Nancy lets the players figure it out on their own for PKs, which i am fine with. With one kick to win the game I wish Darlington would have stepped up over a defender. Seemed like a spot for the Captain to put it on his own shoulders. I am not trying to bitch. I love this team, i love the coach, i love how we play, i'm just sad and wish it had gone differently.
The Crew have won the Cup 3x. Following each championship, we more-or-less kept the roster intact for a repeat run. Despite this, we have never won a single playoff game in the season following a Cup win.
I don’t think this is indicative of anything. Just a weird quirk of how hard it is to repeat.
