Hi everyone,
We had a great response to our initial posting, so we are reposting our survey here in the hopes that a few more people might see it before we analyze the results! Thanks so much to those who have already responded! See below for information about the project:
We are a group of researchers from the Center for OCD Research at Columbia University, and we're interested in learning more about the connection between OCD and cannabis use. In our clinic, we hear from many people with OCD who feel that cannabis helps their obsessions, compulsions, or anxiety. On the other hand, others tell us that cannabis makes their symptoms worse.
To help us understand more about what's going on here, we're looking for people with OCD who have used cannabis in the past to tell us about their experiences. If you have used cannabis in the past, even once, we would love to know about your experiences. Our survey is confidential and doesn't ask for personal or identifiable information. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and everyone who participates will be entered into a raffle to receive a $100 Amazon gift card. If you have OCD and have any experiences with cannabis (good or bad), we'd love to hear from you!
If you're interested, please click on the link below. Thanks!

*Note: For those of you outside the U.S., we would love to hear from you as well, so in the zip code field, please type in 00500, and then let us know your actual zip code and where you are from in question 15, 'Is there anything else you would like us to know about your cannabis use?' Thank you so much, and looking forward to all your responses!

Hello. I currently live in San Antonio, but I am moving to LA and will be driving out. I've heard about the infamous Sierra Blanca checkpoint, but I always assumed they only checked traffic coming east. However, recent experiences with law enforcement have left me extra paranoid, and now I'm wondering if they check both eastbound AND westbound traffic. This may seem like a dumb question, but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer online.
Thanks in advance!
Would I be able to bring pot in? Do any TexasEnts have experience there? I know it is on the border, does that make it risky?
Can anyone else relate?
If it was legal, I wouldn't be so paranoid, but it's obviously not legal in Texas and I like to vape, but I'm just so paranoid and it makes it a bad experience sometimes. :(
EDIT: Thanks for the replies, guys. I feel better now. I think that I get paranoid because I can clearly hear what EVERYONE that walks in the "hallways" is saying, and I guess it's not quiet enough so I freak out a little bit. Fuck, I really want a house on our own property.
Been out about 7 days and guy will not be back in town till tomorrow night. After the say at work I could use it too!
I showed up here randomly and was disappointed by the name of this subreddit. It could be smooshed much better, and more elegantly. I would suggest Texents, as it is phonetically similar to Texan. I will happily accept any commendations or awards for my obvious and potentially infinite wisdom. Smoke on tree people!
I've been thinking for a long time on this subject. How to get marijuana legal in Texas. We need to come together as one and be creative with it! There has to be a way, we are the Great State of Texas!
I just moved to Tyler from the east coast and I'm hoping to meet some frients in the area.
I'm new to the area from Colorado. Looking for some cool people to get to know the area. Thanks so much in advance!
