Basically i started this coop with a guy, but honestly he's a shit coop. VCs with other ppl while we're playing, but nah doesnt wanna vc with me, "never has time", we book as set time but nah hes playing fortnite now even though we booked it in advance like 24h, And always leaves me on "read", not even a "ok" or smth. Feels like im talking to a wall and its very frustrating.

We got to HM, only beat Queen Slime so far, once. He was active preHM but suddenly dropped off the map,

I got the itch after I think over a year to play again. SOO FUN! I actually started a brand new world and character to remember how to play (which was fun), before I stepped in to the old character and world with all the tunnels (seen in pic). It was quite a shock going from a very slow and weak humble build to the insanely epic character I used to play… I might just go back and continue to build and good around! Good times!

So I recently started playing the game and ended up beating the WoF however I didn't safeguard any biomes or anything. Think I might just restart my world as I've only gotten to hardmode and haven't really progressed from there since realised I should have safeguarded my areas. My main base is close to both the corruption biomed that spawned in my world. I'm fine with restarting however I did put a decent amount of work into fishing and my storage area but I think I could do better tbh. What are your thoughts?

I have tried a couple times to jump into terraria cuz it sound alike an absolute banger of a game, but Everytime I try, I get hung up on the controls and building walls is almost impossible. Anyone else with similar problems/any advice on how to make it better or maybe easier to understand? Or is it something we all have to conquer before we truly get a shot at success in the game?

I'm pretty new to this subreddit and i've been seeing everyones buildings and creations and they look incredible!

But, there's something that caught my attentions. Nearly all of the buildings i've seen lack or have very few monster bannes! Since monster banners have been added to the game, all my houses are full of them and they look really really messy.

So, the question is, How do you guys manage your banners? Do you have a way to get all the benefits of the banners while not clogging your houses with banners everywhere?

My "computer" (just a windows 10 laptop) has been struggling to run Calamity or just any high end mod out there. This is really disappointing as me and friend just expirence terraria for the first ever and we are looking to try out some big mods. Is there any mod or way I could boost my porformance with like a mod or a method to help my laptop run Calamity?

I know literally nothing, I just know it's amazingly high rated and my other favorite games (Don't Starve together, Project Zomboid) and it's community adores it. I've seen like 2 screenshots.

I'll play steam multiplayer with my wife (who hasn't even seen the screenshots).

Is there something we should know? Should we watch tutorials or you think learning by playing is the best way to have fun? Any advices?

So recently me and my friend just started a new terraria server. It was going great until like 20 minutes into the session he just disconnects. He tried to join back a bunch and reset his internet but nothing worked. My internet issue had recently been fixed so I don't think its me but what do you guys think?

Does anyone else transfer items from world to world (by having the items in your inventory), if so what items would you transfer and what would be benefit by it?

While I've always been playing in English, a friend of mine who just started the game switched to French when he saw the language was available. But upon entering the character creation screen, he couldn't figure out what to do, because the term "New" was somehow translated as "tangible" (???) so I quickly advised him to switch back to English.

I know Re-Logic is a small team, and this was acceptable and understandable back in the earlier days, but I'm surprised translations have still been left untouched even after 13 years.
How feasible would it be to crowdsource translations? Are there any plans within the 1.4.5 update to improve this aspect?

I'd like to add that I'm very grateful the devs are still working so hard adding substantial new features and improvements to the game, and I can understand if trying to focus on improving translations could shift focus away from actually making the game better while most people play in English anyway.

Crafting should get a slider like depositing has. Ideally you would be able to type the amount.
