Terps are 23.5 point dogs. Thinking that it should be closer to 40. But if they can stay within one score for most of the game, I'd be happy.
Terps are 23.5 point favorite. Hoping to see some reliable shooting from our guards today.
As a Seattleite I’m so excited to see our team play a couple miles from where I live! Go support the team and watch Queen takeover Huskies arena!
Terps are 24.5 favorites . Really looking forward to see how Willard plays Reese and Queen together. As for watching the game, you'll need a paid subscription to BTN+ ($13/month). My normal truck is to get a prepaid visa card, but they won't accept it. But, if you have Roku, use the prepaid card as your payment, and subscribe to BTN+ through Roku. Terps will be on BTN+ three times this month, so after the last game, I'll cancel the subscription. Good luck, and go Terps!
Trying to do a little advance planning . Hoping for a midafternoon or possibly an early evening start. Noon starts can be a pain.
They're on a bye this week. Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Terps are 5.5 point underdogs.
That's it, that's the wish.
Last I checked, terps were 6.5 dogs. Thinking they might not cover based solely upon last week's performance.
I'm looking at parking situations and most say to pay with cash on campus or park off of 193 and walk in. How early do I have to go for this parking? any other spots/locations better for parking?
Also tailgaiting as a USC fan, any good suggestions?
Where do the UMD and visiting bands sit?
Hey Terps Fans!
Every year I go to one distant away game, and as a USC fan it doesn't get much more distant than Maryland.
I am looking for suggestions to experience your gameday. I love visiting campuses and seeing the traditions and events that make their college football different and special.
I would really appreciate any and all suggestions you might have. Are there any "can't miss" moments or events or special things that Maryland does different or better than anybody else? Things that make your gameday unique? Special places to grab a bite? I will have kids (10 and 12) in tow and I promise our goal is to be good guests in your home.
Some stand outs of previous trips:
Sailgating at Washington
The Pearl Street Stampede at Colorado.
Getting burgers from the Chuckbox at Arizona State.
Getting really lucky and stumbling into a fall street fair at Corvallis for Oregon State & eating "Beaver Bark" ice cream.
Thanks in advance
Terps are favored by 10.5 points
Great watch/listen
So 4 of us are visiting the East Coast earlier in the week and will be driving to the College Park area on Friday afternoon. Where would you recommend staying Friday and Saturday night?
we are not opposed to Airbnb or hotel.
which airport would be best to fly back out of on sunday?
I figured there might be a FAQ somewhere for all of this information but thought I would check here
This is their first of two byes this season. Seems odd, but maybe they need them.
this is for the 2025 class. a 6'3" CG.
I am brining my wife and two boys (8 and 11) to campus the weekend of Nov. 15-17.
We have tickets to go to the Maryland-Marquette basketball game on Friday and the Maryland-Rutgers football game on Saturday (my mom went to Marquette and my wife went Rutgers).
First, does anybody know what time the basketball game will be? Time says TBD and one site says 1 pm but shouldn’t it be like an 8:30 tipoff?
My plan is to book a room at the University Hotel and walk to the football stadium to avoid having to park. I would also walk to the Xfinity Center if it’s a day game but assume walking back late at night with tired young kids would be a bad idea. Is parking at Xfinity Center easy? Should we take an Uber?
On Saturday after the football game I thought it would be fun to take the metro into D.C. for dinner. My friends and I used to take the metro to D.C. every Friday afternoon my senior year to bar hop but that was almost 30 years ago. I assume the metro is safe right? Any recommendations on where we could go for dinner?
If the basketball game is Friday night we will walk around campus on Friday afternoon. If the game is Friday afternoon we will probably do the campus walk on Saturday afternoon.
Any tips or things I should be aware of? I visited the campus briefly last spring, otherwise haven’t been back in a while.
